Growing up I was always the type of child that loved to be building things, especially out of boxes. You could find me no matter what time of the year with boxes around the house, creating rocket ships, mazes, and so much more. This was a creative outlet that I loved, and it continued through elementary school until I loved out of my local school district and into a new home. This move really made me grow up quickly, for better or for worse.
This move hit me hard and it took a lot to bounce back. It was the beginning of my 6th grade year and let me tell you, with that being the last year that you are to be in elementary, you are the odd one out and making friends becomes not very easy.
All of this being said I have to give props to my father, as he went out of his way to work with me, being there for me, while trying to make me know that he and my mom were there. While he was not the most skilled at building things, he always encouraged me to work on my own things. Whether it was providing more boxes, working on a pinewood derby car, or some other simple act, I always knew he was there even when he was busy and having to work long hours as a Principal of the local middle school.
These acts are similar ones that I try to emulate myself. I do what I can to be there for my kids. I try to be at all of their school activities, sports, and other extra-curricular passions to let them know that I am there for them no matter what.
I feel strongly that it is this support that will help them to understand the importance of perseverance and balance. I know and see the importance of being a involved dad on a daily basis and it simply kills me when I hear my kids upset if for some reason I cannot be at an event (though I do not miss too many).
Seeing that I get out in the public to provide this support, I also know that it is very important that at home, in the community and professionally that I need to look good and appear professional. To do this, not only do I need to dress well, but I also need to make sure that I look healthy and fresh-faced (my words!). To do this I need a razor that shaves close and holds a charge well. The new grooming tool was an amazing shaver that allows you to gain a very close shave, while holding a charge that I seemed to find held at least for the whole first week that I was using it.
The is lightweight and portable. The cleaning system that it arrives with was easy to setup and completely cleans the Philips Norelco Shaver 9000, leaving no hairs behind. I loved that the Philips Norelco Shaver 9000 could be used both wet or dry and using it both ways worked well. I found that no matter which way I used it, it still cut completely and thoroughly.
Watch below for a bit more information about my thoughts on the Philips Norelco Shaver 9000:
