During our trip to Seattle, my daughter was super-excited to visit the Museum of Pop Culture (MOPOP) and thanks to using my City Pass, we were able to visit this iconic museum!
Why was this museum a must add to our itinerary? Well, my daughter is a huge fan of Kurt Cobain and his music as well as the movie Caroline and both of these were on display while we visited.
It was perfect timing as Laika Studios was on display and we were able to see items from all of their stop-motion movies, but Coraline was the main attraction for us.
At the same time there was a whole large gallery that talked about Kurt Cobain and Nirvana and my daughter actually spent the time to read and learn more in both of these exhibits which is not always something that happens when we visit museums!
All of this being said, Museum of Pop Culture (MOPOP) is an amazing museum with a ton of unique galleries. I loved getting to see the gallery of horror and science fiction, as there were movies, characters and more that I really appreciated seeing!
If you are visiting Seattle, you have to visit Museum of Pop Culture (MOPOP) for yourself or with your family!
