Having a phone that does not hold you hostage but instead gives you the freedom to talk on the go where you want when you want is exacly what I am looking for both personally and professionally. I hate being ties into a contract, but have been a bit shy about the idea of a non-contract go-phone in the past. Why? I really do not know. Maybe I thought it would be a lot more expensive.
ZTE USA, the fourth largest phone manufacturer in the U.S. and second largest in the no-contract market, recently released the ZTE Maven as a way to provide an affordable smartphone for their own wireless network. The ZTE Maven has stepped into this void and for me, who uses AT&T, it only costs $59.99, which is very reasonable for a smartphone and is available at all the the AT&T retail stores as well as at Walmart on at www.att.com.
The ZTE Maven is also a device that can be activated on both AT&T postpaid and GoPhone prepaid service!
I had the chance to try out the ZTE Maven over the last few weeks and I wanted to share this with all of you! The ZTE Maven is small in size but very powerful. I loved how easy it was to setup and to pair with bluetooth devices I had set in the past. Outside of this I was able to easily transition form my existing phone to this and the SIM card was the same size so it was even easier to try too. The AT&T service worked well and I have gotten a great signal in many different parts of the country which is even better. Best of all though so far was the battery strength of the phone. This phone really holds its’ charge and I found that I could actually use the phone extensively and the battery would last more than a day which is so much better than my existing phone!
The ZTE Maven also was fast and could handle a lot of tasks at once. It has a powerful 1.2 GHz Qualcomm quad-core processor which allows you to get really fast speeds streaming, downloading, and surfing online.
I also love to take pictures and the ZTE Maven has a great 5 MP rear-facing camera and VGA front-facing camera that will help you capture your adventures.
All-in-all I have been really impressed with the ZTE Maven and think you will be too!
I also wanted to share with you that while I did not try out the ZTE Sonata 2, ZTE USA also released this great new phone which is available with Cricket Wireless online at www.cricketwireless.com and in select Cricket Wireless retail stores nationwide for $29.99 with new line activation or with an eligible upgrade.
The Sonata 2 has been upgraded with more talk time and new looks. Fun meets function with a selfie shortcut button, a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and 4x zoom, and a 2 MP front-facing camera. With 32GB of expandable storage (MicroSD card sold separately), 1.2GHz Qualcomm dual-core processor, 4G speeds, and plenty of battery, this phone will not slow you down or hold you back this summer.
