My Take on the Movie

As a fan of Star Wars I can say that this movie was a thrill ride from beginning to end. While I know that no movie can please everyone, for me, I found this to be a great conclusion to the trilogy of films in this series, and one that provides you action, adventure, drama and more.

The movie was visually amazing with fight scenes and cinematography that draws you into the worlds where you find the characters.

Personally, I loved the characters. You get to see all of the characters that you have come to love such as Finn (John Boyega), Rey (Daisy Ridley), and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaacs). One character that seemed to get a bit forgotten was the character of Rose Tico. While you see her a bit, the relationship between her and Finn seems to disappear and her being injured in the previous film was not even addressed which I found a bit strange.  Outside of this I did also like the new characters in the film.

All-in-All I felt that the movie pulled me in and definitely kept me connected from beginning to end. The movie does embody the essence of a Star Wars film. You will get great action, characters and more and for me, it was a great use of my time and I will definitely be watching it again in the future!

My Take on the Movie

This was a movie that I did not know what to expect. I am a big Star Wars fan and I was looking forward to seeing how they would tell the story of Han Solo. The story has some good plot lines and characters. I felt that this movie felt more like a star wars movie. Lots of throw backs to the orginal trilogy. The music and sound effects were true star wars. The action was incredible. And Lando was great! I was hoping that the actor playing Han Solo could fill in for Harrison Ford and in the end I think that he did. I know that there has been some that did not appreciate the movie, but in the end the action, the characters and more added a ton to the story of Han Solo in my opinion. The movie really paves the way for a possible sequel as the end leaves the possibility wide open.

Getting Out Of This World With A Star Wars: The Last Jedi Movie Night

April 5, 2018 by dadofdivas Leave a Comment

Star Wars: The Last Jedi

My kids and I are HUGE Star Wars Fans and some of you may remember that last December I was able to go to the press junket for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Well, needless to say we have been very excited to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi again and with the recent release of the film we recently had an out of this world Star Wars: The Last Jedi movie night to celebrate the release and also have a blast experiencing the film again!

Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Star Wars: The Last Jedi

If you have never seen this film, I have to say that it is an amazingly crafted film that definitely moves the story of Rey, the Jedi order, Kylo Ren and more forward. There is fantastic cinematography and the graphic effects are out of this world.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi

I have to also commend the acting within the film. I particularly loved the way that Kelly Marie Tran brought life into her character of Rose Tico. Even beyond her Domhnall Gleeson as General Hux, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, and Laura Dern as Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo – they all did a great job in all of their roles!

Star Wars: The Last Jedi

The music, the action, the plot and more drew me into the film and I have to say that my daughters loved every minute of it as well. By the end we were already wishing to see the next film in the series!

Star Wars: The Last Jedi Star Wars: The Last Jedi

If you have not experienced Star Wars: The Last Jedi, I highly recommend that you do. It closes some of the storyline as well as keeps you guessing at what will come next, all of which is the sign of a great movie in my perspective!
