My Take on the Movie

Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu successfully brings one of the franchise’s most beloved duos from the small screen to the big screen without losing the heart that made them fan favorites. Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin remains the steady, honorable protector audiences have come to admire, while Grogu continues to steal nearly every scene with charm, humor, and surprising growth. The story balances thrilling action with quieter moments that strengthen the bond between mentor and apprentice, giving the adventure genuine emotional weight. Visually, the film embraces the cinematic scale expected from Star Wars, with impressive worlds, memorable creatures, and exciting battles that feel larger than anything seen in the series. While longtime viewers may recognize the familiar storytelling style, the movie still delivers an entertaining journey that stands on its own. It may not redefine the galaxy far, far away, but it captures the spirit of adventure, friendship, and hope that has always made Star Wars so enduring.

My Take on the Movie

As someone who’s been hit-or-miss on Marvel’s recent releases, Thunderbolts honestly surprised me—in a good way. From the opening sequence, I could tell this wasn’t going to be the usual flash-and-quips formula. The emotional core of this story, especially with Yelena and Bucky, really landed for me. These aren’t polished heroes—they’re scarred, guarded, and more human because of it. That made their chemistry feel earned, not forced.

The action is tight and satisfying, especially that unforgettable limo scene, but what stuck with me was how each character wrestled with guilt, trust, and redemption. Lewis Pullman’s Bob was an unexpected highlight—quiet but magnetic. The blend of dark humor, strong pacing, and grounded performances made it feel closer to Winter Soldier than most recent Marvel entries.

It’s a movie about broken people trying to rebuild—something I didn’t realize I wanted in a superhero story until now.

The series was produced Mohawk Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Previously only the first season was released on DVD, back in 2007, followed later by a compilation of the series’ best episodes.

The complete series includes all nine seasons of the series, plus the “Life Inside the Cubicle” featurette from the season 1 DVD.

Not included are the special episodes “Drew’s Dance Party Special,” “Drew Carey’s Back-to-School Rock ‘n’ Roll Comedy Hour — Parts 1 & 2” and “What’s Love Got to Do with It?” In addition, musical compositions in certain episodes have been replaced or altered from their original broadcast versions.

Review of the Series and Set

As someone who watched The Drew Carey Show religiously in the ’90s, finally owning (almost) the full series on DVD feels like a nostalgic dream come true. Yes, a few episodes didn’t make the cut, and some music had to be swapped out due to licensing headaches—but honestly, I’m just thrilled this underrated sitcom finally got the home release it deserved. Watching Drew, Oswald, Lewis, and Mimi’s absurd antics again has been a blast. The comedy still holds up—quirky, ridiculous, and often smarter than it gets credit for. The improvisation, the off-the-wall plotlines, and the moments where the cast clearly tried not to break character remind me why I loved it in the first place. The disc packaging could be better—stacked discs are a bit of a hassle—but I’ll gladly baby this box set if it means I can revisit Cleveland’s finest whenever I want. Totally worth the long wait.

My Take On The Jerky

About the Show

Her first order of business is to fire the team’s current manager and replace him with an idealistic all-American football coach Theodore “Ted” Lasso (Jason Sudeikis). Ted and his friend, assistant Coach Beard (Brendan Hunt) cross the pond to take up the management of the team’s “long, albeit modest” history. Ted gets to know the team – including Team Captain Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein), top scorer Jamie Tartt (Phil Dunster) and more – but finds his first friend in the locker room assistant Nathan (Nick Mohammed). Half a world away from his wife and child, Ted could use a friend. But he presses on, nevertheless. Richmond is about to change the way they’re doing things — and from now on — that is the Lasso way.

My Take on the Series

Ted Lasso is a rare gem of a series that effortlessly balances humor, heart, and humanity. From the very first episode, I was hooked by the charm of Jason Sudeikis’s portrayal of Ted, a relentlessly optimistic, fish-out-of-water American football coach leading a struggling British soccer team. Ted’s relentless positivity is infectious, not just for the team but for anyone watching. Even on my worst days, the show has a magical way of lifting my spirits.

The brilliance of Ted Lasso lies in its characters, who feel real and deeply layered. Each member of AFC Richmond has their own journey, from Roy Kent’s gruff exterior hiding a heart of gold to Jamie Tartt’s transformation from egotistical star to team player. Rebecca Welton’s growth as a leader and a person is inspiring, and I can’t get enough of Keeley Jones’s unapologetic boldness. Even secondary characters like Nathan and Higgins shine in their unique ways.

What truly sets Ted Lasso apart is its ability to tackle universal themes like forgiveness, mental health, and belonging without ever feeling heavy-handed.
