About the Movie

My Take on the Movie

We have been big fans of the Ice Age franchise for some time and this addition was a welcome one. We did not know what to expect but it was nice to see the storyline continue and see Peaches grown up an preparing to have a life on her own. As a father myself the concept of seeing your children grow and being able to let go hit home and I found that they did a good job at bringing forth the father/daughter relationship. On top of this though there were some great light-hearted moments that made us laugh and the actors did a good job at embodying their characters. It is always nice to be able to see Scrat in his ~~adventures~~ mis-adventures and even the retelling of the history of our solar system as told through this lens. The movie brings in good glimpses and messages of family and friendship and it was definitely an enjoyable film that our whole family enjoyed!
