Lucyd Glasses Are The Perfect Gift

December 22, 2021 by dadofdivas 1 Comment

Lucyd Lyte Glasses

Lucyd eyeglasses are so much fun! I had tried a pair of Lucyd glasses in the past and loved them.  You might ask, why? Well, I’ll tell you. For me, these glasses worked well to really allow me to stay connected. Connected to my family, connected to my work and connected to the world around me. Why do these glasses allow me to stay connected? Well, they are blutooth enabled that give me the ability to take calls while biking, or driving, while also being able to listen to my favorite podcast or music. The last time I tried these glasses, I ordered transition lenses, but this time I decided to get only sunglasses. Both glasses have been great, and the ability for connection has been a game changer.

Lucyd was founded in 2017 by Harrison Gross, David “Eric” Cohen and Konrad Dabrowski, a dedicated trio of tech entrepreneurs passionate about upgraded eyewear. Early on, they observed that there wasn’t a single pair of prescription glasses on the market that had smart features, but also addressed the human need to see clearly and comfortably.

Unique Features of Lucyd Glasses

  • Cutting-edge smartglasses with improved sound and touch controls over the competition, all at a price that matches standard prescription glasses.
  • A full range of custom lens options, including Readers and Progressive Prescriptions, at a significant discount compared to most eyewear retailers.
  • Rapid 3-5 day global shipping, with free priority shipping (and return shipping) inside the USA.
  • Quick concierge-level customer service, dedicated to making sure you love your glasses.
  • Free eye health advice from our in-house optometrist.
  • Best-in-class virtual try-on provided by FittingBox. Live stream glasses onto your face without uploading a photo.
  • Ultra-secure checkout including payment plans and cryptocurrency options.
  • Ultra-secure checkout including payment plans and cryptocurrency options.
  • Risk-free 7-day return policy and 90-day warranty on all our glasses.
  • Profitable programs for resellers and affiliates, with no MOQ’s.

Lucyd Lyte Glasses

A Great Gift For Everyone

As I think about these glasses, the thing that really stands out is that these are the perfect gift for anyone that loves to stay active. For me, my life is constantly going and I love to stay active in many ways. That being said, these sunglasses allow me to get outside and still stay connected which is great for anything that I am doing. Lucyd has some great deals that you can find on their website at different times of the year that will allow you to save some great money.

Lucyd Lyte Glasses

My Take on Lucyd Eyeglasses

I have been wearing these glasses for the last few weeks and I can still say that I am really impressed with the quality of the frame and the glasses themselves. On top of this the technology is top notch and the sound quality really conducts well through the glasses themselves.

The glasses have allowed me to stay active with music or a podcast without having to also carry along extra earphones. Also, one thing I loved about these is that I do not have to have headphones in my ears when running so I can stay aware of my surroundings.

The glasses were also very dark when it came to the sunglasses themselves. When the sun is out and it is very bright, these were perfect to protect my eyes and make it easier to see, even on the brightest of days. Lucyd Lyte Glasses

The glasses are made directly for you, so when you get them you know that they will give you what you need. When I got mine, I made sure that they were charged up and tried them out and I can tell you, they did not disappoint.

The glasses are also streamlined and I have had numerous people ask me about the glasses because of how they look and when the hear that they also have Bluetooth compatibility they are hooked!

All-in-all I have been really impressed with my Lucyd Lyte glasses thus far. If you have never checked them out for yourself, I highly recommend that you do. Click here on my affiliate link to check them out for yourself!

Lucyd Eyeglasses – Staying Connected Wherever You Are

April 2, 2021 by dadofdivas Leave a Comment

Lucyd Lyte Glasses

Lucyd eyeglasses are different than any other glasses I have ever worn before. You see, I have worn glasses since I was a kid, and I also live a busy life that requires me to stay connected. Sometimes when I am out and about, I worry about this, as I know that working in digital media I at times have to be on something immediately.

They set out to build those glasses, and succeeded with their Lucyd Loud product line. In the process, they’ve built a one-of-a-kind eshop experience, where you can try on glasses virtually, consult their in-house eye doctor for free, and pick from a huge amount of custom lens options.

Unique Features of Lucyd Glasses

  • Cutting-edge smartglasses with improved sound and touch controls over the competition, all at a price that matches standard prescription glasses.

Lucyd Giving Back

As part of our commitment to improving the vision of people worldwide, Lucyd donates a quality optical frame to New Eyes or a local Miami cause for every Lucyd Lyte sold. New Eyes is a charity established to empower children and adults with the glasses they need to pursue a better quality of life.

Additionally, they offer an 18% discount to students, educators, US uniformed services and veterans. Contact them at info@Lucyd.co to claim your discount, please include a copy of proper identification (you may censor any sensitive info).

My Take on Lucyd Eyeglasses

Below you will find my review of Lucyd glasses. I have been wearing them now for about a month and have to say that I am really impressed with the quality of the frame and the glasses themselves, but beyond that I am impressed by the technology embedded into the glasses themselves.

Being someone that is constantly on the go, I know the importance of being able to stay connected and as a dad, I need to do that in a way that many times keeps my hands free and these glasses do just that.

The other thing that I wanted when purchasing these glasses were transition lenses as I knew that I would use them both as glasses and sunglasses. The process of ordering the glasses was siple and you could easily add on or subtract features without any issue.

The glasses are made directly for you, so when you get them you know that they will give you what you need. When I got mine, I made sure that they were charged up and tried them out and I can tell you, they did not disappoint.

The glasses connected seamlessly and I found that the sound quality of music or even a phone call was great and not having to worry about holding my phone was even better. One piece of advice, if it is windy, find a spot to have a phone conversation which is away from the wind as that is the only issue that I found (but this is easily remedied.)

All-in-all I have been really impressed with my Lucyd Lyte glasses thus far. If you have never checked them out for yourself, I highly recommend that you do. Click here on my affiliate link to check them out for yourself!

Taking Care Of Your Eyes Is SO Important #SeeMuchMore

August 15, 2014 by dadofdivas 1 Comment

Français : Examen ophtalmologique Source: http...

When I was on vacation a few weeks ago I was cleaning my glasses and all of a sudden my glasses broke in two. I had these glasses for the past 10 years so they lasted a long time, but it was very sad to lose them. Luckily I was able to go to the Gaylord Eye Care Center to be able to get a eye exam as well as to get some great new glasses.

I have always seen the importance of keeping up with my eye care. I always did what I could to have regular eye exams to make sure that my eyes were staying healthy and that my prescription was not changing too drastically. Luckily, as a professional I have always had eye insurance and lately my employer offers me VSP Vision Care for employees.  I have always appreciated the ability to have insurance and having VSP has helped with my exams as well as providing something for glasses for myself and my family.

About VSP Vision Care (VSP)

As the largest national not-for-profit in vision care, VSP Vision Care reinvests in the things its nearly 66 million members value most – the best care at the lowest out-of-pocket costs. With a network of 30,000 eye care providers, VSP members have the freedom to choose the provider, location and eyewear that’s right for them. It’s easy to see why VSP is consumers’ #1 choice in vision care.

Because I wear glasses this has always been important as I want to make sure that everyone in my family is covered and so that my own kids are covered too. Luckily, so far my kids to not need glasses. That being said, it is important for all kids to have an eye exam too even when they are not having eye problems, as keeping their eyes healthy leads to recognizing problems early, problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. For me, but for the kids it helps me them to make sure that they will be able to experience life to the fullest. I also just read that one in four children has an undetected vision condition which to me makes it even more important for kids to have these exams!

English: EL REALEJO, Nicaragua (July 23, 2007)...

I read recently that many experts believe that 80 percent of what we learn is through our eyes, making a comprehensive eye exam one of the most important ways parents can give their child the best chance at success this school year.

Whether you currently have vision insurance now or not, I just learned about a new website that is great. SeeMuchMore.com is a one-stop site for all the information you need about enrolling in vision benefits. The site includes a virtual savings calculator to estimate your savings with VSP vision benefits. There is also helpful information about maintaining healthy vision that can be found at the Learn About Your Eyes section of the site. You can even play an interactive game for a chance to win prizes.

Product Review & Giveaway – Just Eyewear

April 10, 2010 by dadofdivas 54 Comments

About The Site (In Their Words)
We are direct sellers of prescription glasses. When you buy from us you’ll save 70%, 80%, even 90% over a brick-and-mortar store. That’s an average savings of $150 dollars per pair! We can do this because we don’t have the overhead they do: no expensive retail store, no overpriced designer brands and no expensive equipment. Plus, not only will you save tons of money, but you’ll be protected by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. You can return your glasses, for any reason, and get all of your money back. Simply put, we sell great glasses, have great service, back it all up with a powerful guarantee, and we do it all for hundreds less.

My Experience With The Site
As many of you know I have been wearing glasses for quite some time. As a member of The Product Review Place (TPRP), I was given the opportunity to work with and review Just Eyewear and a pair of single vision glasses from their site.

One of the first things that I noticed was how easy the site was to use. I liked the videos and how to’s that they had on the site which made it easier to navigate. For example there was a step-by-step video guide, “How to Order From JustEyewear.com” and two other articles “Guide to Buying Glasses Online” and “How to Choose a Frame.” that I found extremely interesting and informative. The articles explained the basic process of ordering prescription glasses online. The frame article helps you find frames that will suit your lifestyle and appearance.

The site itself was easy to use and I was impressed by the searching features that the site provides. The site itself provides you with the opportunity to search for glasses based on the shape of the frame; frame type; frame material and frame size. The glasses range in price between $0-$93.00. When I was looking for glasses to try out I found a number of glasses under $50. I did find that if you were looking for specialty frames such as flexon or titanium, you then will need to pay more than $50. Also, if you want anything beyond the single vision, you will need to pay a bit more. So while the single vision lenses might cost under $100, much like you will find in block and mortar stores you will find that anything beyond this is an add on.

When I received the glasses that I ordered I was happy with the results and they came out perfectly. The frames were high quality and the prescription was correct. It took about a week and a half to receive the glasses, but this was no longer than you typically wait in regular stores, so I had no problems with this. I couldn’t have asked for an easier process.

Giveaway

How would you like to win a pair of glasses (up to $50.00) for yourself or someone else? I will be giving away one pair of glasses to a lucky reader! All you need to do is go to Just Eyewear’s website and tell me what frame you would pick to be considered. The contest will run for one week and will end on April 17, 2010.

    Product Review – Glasses USA

April 2, 2010 by dadofdivas Leave a Comment

I was given the opportunity to try out the Glasses from Glasses USA recently.

    About the Site
GlassesUSA.com is the premier online retailer of eyeglasses and sunglasses.

They guarantee their customers the highest quality – yet affordable – prescription eyeglasses because they own their laboratories, saving their customers on every order!

The team behind GlassesUSA.com prides themselves on conducting business with honesty and integrity. Their associates are specially trained to provide customers with professionally accurate answers for all of your glasses needs and they want to be the only place you buy your custom made glasses!

They never compromise on quality at GlassesUSA.com! They supply their customers with lenses that not only exceed FDA requirements but they pass our “5-stripe” process prior to shipment. If they do not meet the company’s standards – they are not shipped. They use the best products and technologies to manufacture and process their lenses. They make sure you get the best value and highest quality for your money. They believe their customers should not have to pay unreasonably high prices for quality online glasses.

Our goal is to give you the best eyewear products in the quickest time-frame possible! Why should you have to wait for your frames? We have a variety of shipping methods so that YOU can choose the shipping method that best suits your needs. We guarantee on-time delivery – 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week.

Finally, All of their returned eyeglasses are not restocked as they are with most optical stores. Their’s are “recycled”! What does that mean? Well, they believe that everyone should have access to vision care. So, they donate all of their returned eyeglasses to various organizations around the US who then sanitize and redistribute the eyeglasses with the correct prescription to people all over the world who can’t afford vision care!

    About the Glasses
I took advantage of trying out the Troy Gunmetal Flexible glasses. I picked this frame because it was similar to another pair of eyeglasses that I have and J-Mom liked the way that they looked on me. The process of searching the site was simple and I liked the way that you could limit the search based on specific criteria such as your gender, material, lens type and price. I did not have to do much in the sense of searching much past this.

The prices for their prescription glasses were reasonable in comparison to other local vendors that I have visited. I ended up getting single vision lenses and found and did notice that the price went up quite a bit if you needed to get something different or if you wanted polarized or transition lenses. I guess though this is to be somewhat expected with the fact that there is more effort in preparing the glasses themselves.

I have to say that in receiving the glasses they were great and it only took about a week or so to receive the finished glasses which usually is quicker than most eyeglass locations. The eyeglasses were well packaged and came in a sturdy case with polishing cloth (which was nice). The glasses and frames were sturdy and of nice quality.

I was a little disappointed to find that the glasses I found online were a bit more rectangular that I had first imagined, so they did not look the best on my face, but alas, that was my mistake.

Overall, the entire experience was very positive and I would recommend others to check out the company for themselves and see what kind of glasses you can find for yourself!

If you are interested in finding some glasses for yourself, all of my readers are being offered a discount. The code is: Mommy5 and it’s good for 5% off your final order! The code never expires.

All opinions expressed in this review are my own and not influenced in any way by the company.  Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider. Please refer to this site’s Terms of Use  for more information. I have been compensated or given a product free of charge, but that does not impact my views or opinions.

Being Called 4 Eyes, But Definitely Seeing Better

    January 8, 2010 by dadofdivas 3 Comments

When I was young, as I was in middle school I started to notice that I would get headaches and that my eyes were bothering me. Not really know what was going on my parents decided to have my eyes checked to see if there were other issues going on (as my Dad wore eyeglasses).
After meeting with the Ophthalmologist, we came to find that I did have an issue that needed to be corrected with glasses. So thus started my journey with prescription glasses. Luckily, I did not get the tormenting teasing that some kids get for wearing glasses.
Looking back now I am amazed at how glasses have changed since I started wearing them. When I started I wore these huge glasses. Over the years the lens’ have become thinner and the eyeglass frames lighter. I have found myself choosing to wear glasses that were very thin and streamlined to accent my own face (the large ones do not seem to look good on me anymore).

I do wonder sometimes whether my own girls will have to wear glasses. J-Mom has glasses for night driving, but she really does not need them. I can say though that I am happy to see the variety of glasses that are now available for kids that are out there, as there were definitely not as many when I started my own journey.

In thinking about my own journey I wanted to see whether there were any resources out there for families helping their children transition into glasses. I found the following:
