About the Movie

Disney’s “The Jungle Cruise” is filled with adventure, humor, mystery and more! From the very beginning of the movie to the end you are on a thrill ride watching the main characters as they work to find the treasure that they seek. The movie does a great job at developing the characters and keeps providing you surprises throughout the movie which will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end.

Throughout the movie you will see some ties to the iconic Disney rides which definitely made me smile. As you get to know Frank you start to wonder about his story, but throughout the movie, you will get to know more!

As someone that loves Disney and the Jungle Cruise ride, this movie really made the movie come to life and to be honest, by the end I would love to be able to see what comes next with the characters!

To be honest, this movie is a movie that will draw you into a new world and let you escape for a good two hours.

Holiday Time at Disneyland Was The Perfect Way To Visit An Amazing Park!

December 7, 2017 by dadofdivas Leave a Comment

Disneyland

Disneyland

For me, going to Disneyland was a dream come true. As you probably know my family are big Disney fans, but though this is the case, I had never visited Disneyland until last week. You see, at the beginning of December I and a number of other bloggers visited Los Angeles to celebrate the new Star Wars: The Last Jedi movie along with exploring Disneyland and some amazing new ABC shows.

Disneyland

We visited Disneyland to explore all of the wonder and magic that surrounds it during the holidays as well as celebrating the release of the updated Star Tours – The Adventure Continues.

We flew into Los Angeles and after only a few hours we ended up boarding a van to go and explore Disneyland. We stopped at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa to be able to easily access the park. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and with the huge open area that you walk into once you enter and it being decorated for the Holidays, it was a site to see as you can see in the pictures here.

Staying at this hotel also gives you the opportunity to easily access Downtown Disney which leads you right to the entrance of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.

Disneyland

We went right to Disneyland and as we were walking in we saw the iconic front of the park and at the moment we were there they were getting ready for the candlelight processional. We did not have time to see it, but I heard later that is was amazing! Well. we headed right to Star Tours to explore the new experience. We had some amazing tour guides that were able to get us right on the rides. This made the experience so amazing as the night that we visited was VERY busy, but it did not seem that way at all because of the ability to go on without hardly any wait.

Disneyland

Star Tours -The Adventure Continues was a great ride, There are some amazing new scenes from the new Star Wars – The Last Jedi movie. I was really excited to see this and it did not disappoint. The ride was a thrill ride and we all left even more excited to see the movie!

Disneyland

We had dinner at the Galactic Grill and I had an amazing salad that completely hit the spot.

From dinner it was off to It’s A Small World and the Haunted Mansion which were both decorated and changed for the Holidays. At It’s a Small World we were mesmerized by the lights that were placed all over the outside of the ride. Beyond this though the entire ride itself was changed so that it celebrated the holidays including music and displays. The ride itself was amazing and I loved the new changes. I found out that it took about 3 weeks to make all of the changes for the holidays and you could really see that. I also found that Disneyland is the only place that you will see this.

Disneyland

From It’s a Small World it was over to The Haunted Mansion. As we walked up on this, again, it was completely changed for the holidays. The ride was changed over to be taken over with Jack and the whole crew from The Nightmare Before Christmas. The ride was again a ton of fun but so different that I had experienced in the past. Not that this was bad, but it was a ton of fun!

Disneyland California Adventure Disneyland California Adventure

While I would have stayed longer at Disneyland, we had to go over to Disney’s California Adventure. When we got there we had a blast exploring so many new things. One of my favorite rides was the new Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission Break Out. As a big fan of Guardians of the Galaxy you could probably understand why I was so excited about this ride. There were some main differences outside of just the plot from Tower of Terror, but it was a ton of fun for everyone. Just take a look at our group photo and you will see what I mean.

Disneyland California Adventure

Walking around this park there are so many fun finds in each area of the park. I even found out that there are future plans to have Marvel characters in one section of the park and a whole other area that will eventually have a Pixar theme.

In all, I was so impressed with both parks. We tried to fit in so much in a very short period of time, but what we saw made me want to come back and spend a ton more time in the future!

Here is a video of some of my experiences

In Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the Skywalker saga continues as the heroes of The Force Awakens join the galactic legends in an epic adventure that unlocks age-old mysteries of the Force and shocking revelations of the past.
