According to comScore Inc., online shoppers spent $1.25 billion on Cyber Monday last year, making it the heaviest online shopping day ever, that being said, buckle up for a fun ride of becoming an internet deal detective!

Three ways that I get ready for Cyber Monday include:

Make a list of things you want
Don’t blindly go searching for deals. Instead, start with a broad (or specific list) and then start your search. Some companies are starting having information our about their sales much sooner than on Monday itself, so start your search early!
Look Online For Additional Codes
You will definitely find out which companies are offering great process online, but you need to dig deeper. Many codes can be found by looking online for free shipping, dollars off and the like. You can find these sometimes through general google searches, but there are also numerous listservs and forums (as well as websites like coupons.com) that provide this type of information as well that can be treasure troves of information for the would be shopper.
Do your research

Too often consumers blindly make a decision based on price – DONT! Do your research on the type of products that you want to purchase, read reviews and come into the decision making process informed and ready!
