TINKERING LABS
Matt Brocchini and his co-founder Gever Tulley are the fathers of the modern Tinkering movement.
In fact, they take Tinkering so seriously that they’ve even developed schools to encourage children in building critical STEM skills.

Tulley actually started in 2005 with Tinkering School, or makers camps for kids that encouraged learning through building. Essentially, the Tinkering School brought the art of invention to life for kids. Tinkering School has grown from 8 kids the first summer to over 1,000 kids a year today. The maker movement continued with Brightworks (K-12 independent school). Brightworks opened in 2011 and is in its 6th year now.

From babies to big kids, Tinkering Labs offers maker solutions for every age.
Last year, they launched Tinker Lab to make it easy for any parent or teacher to bring rich hands-on learning to their kids through affordable kits.

My Take on the Tinkering Labs
My daughter and I loved tinkering around our home and creating some very cool things that could really work with the engines that were provided. What I loved about the set were the challenges that were provided within this kit. Each challenge were unique and made you think. Also, with each challenge there was no right answer and you could let your imagination go wild. This was so fun and definitely worth the price for what you get. You also get everything that you need in the kit and the design is perfect and with the notches, the rubber bands can easily connnect! This surpassed my expectations!
