I have heard for many years the great accolades of Tilley Hats. First it was from my own father who had one, lost it, replaced it, and still owns it today. Next it was a friend, and all shouted from the rooftops about how great these hats were. Well… I had to look into them myself to find out whether they lived up to the hype!
So, luckily I was given the opportunity to have myself and my family try out the hats and learn more about them in the process.

These ten items sold me even before I received the hats for my family. Once I did receive them I have to say that the hats lived up to my expectations. The hats fit wonderfully as they were custom fit. They were light and provided great airflow to your head. After I received the hats I also explored the Tilley Hat website and was surprised to find a number of other products that are geared to save your family from sun damage. So when you go to the website you will not only find great hats, but you also will find items like shirts, shorts, pants, socks, Jackets, vests and even underwear, belts and bags, and that was just in the men’s items (Women had even more to choose from).
Going back to the hats themselves, I have to say that I love the fact that they block 98% of the sun’s harmful UV rays. As a person who’s father has had many bouts of melanoma on his head, I am always trying to cover up my head for this reason alone.
