Hoop-de-doo! Here’s the first retail fitness kit designed just for children and families to keep them active. Kit includes an easy-to-assemble, indestructible full sized Pro-Hoop that’s designed to be a bit thicker, heavier, and a lot sturdier than typical hoops you may have seen. Built for success, this bigger diameter surprisingly makes tricks easier to accomplish and allows kids to hoop for longer periods of time. It also includes two Parents’ Choice Foundation Award-winning DVDs featuring instructional music videos that teach tricks, lead dynamic routines and entertain with nutrition and other tips. The kit is packed with 12 instructional games. Also included is a HOOPERSIZE CD with seven heart-pumping tunes. For more fun in every household, additional hoops can be purchased without videos or CDs for $24.95 plus shipping and handling.

The battle over childhood obesity, now declared a disease by the American Medical Association, has a new ally in Fitness guru and TEDx Talk alum Kellee McQuinn.  Nicknamed “the Pied Piper with a Boom Box” by the LA Times. In 2002 she founded KidTribe, an international children’s fitness and nutrition program, and has single-handedly evoked a new paradigm of physical education with her trend-setting activities and cutting-edge approach.

KidTribe’s infectious routines take the form of ‘Fitness Concerts’ known as Hoopapalooza which have grown to be a popular and award school assembly program, seen by over 3.5 million kids and teachers.  So popular in fact that it has been a staple at the White House Easter Egg Roll since 2010!  Now, parents can take the energy of KidTribe’s live show home with them with HOOPERSIZE®, a retail fitness kit designed just for children and families to keep them active.

My Take on this Kit

I am always open to finding new ways to get my kids active and having them stay healthy. Hoopersize does just that, and they do it in such a fun way! With the high energy of KidTribe and the fun of the hoops from the Hoopersize products kids can have a blast and do some very cool tricks along the way. My eldest daughter has been using hula-hoops for years but she was able to do so much more with the hoop in this kit. I think what they say was right, the thickness of the hoop in the kit makes the difference. I even tried out the kit and it is a workout!

The kit was easy to put together and once done you can let your kids have at it and will they ever. If they are anything like my own kids they will fight over who gets to try it next (yes my kids did that)! All-in-all my kids had a blast with this and I am sure that yours will too!

So have your kids burn off some steam and stay healthy in a very fun way with Hoopersize!

This is really cool, I love it. Reminds me of the Hula Hoops. Great way to make exercise fun for kids.
