Getting Over 50 MPG With the 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid
Over the past week I had the pleasure of trying out the brand new 2016 Hyundai Sonata Plug-In Hybrid and it has been an amazing vehicle. We used this on a trip to see my own father on Fathers Day and it is was the perfect vehicle for this. While the vehicle was not the largest, it provided us with a ton of savings with the amount of gas we saved.
You see, as an electric plug-in vehicle when I filled up this vehicle I found that when I filled up the tank (which was between 13-14 gallons) the car readout stated that I could get about 550 miles on a tank of gas. I have found that when the vehicle is completely charged up I can drive to and from work on the electric charge. This would definitely save me a ton. On our trip I found that I would play a game with myself to do whatever I could to try and get the most use out of the electric battery. It as so much fun and while it was not always easy to always stay on electric power, especially when your batter is low, but it was still fun none-the-less.
The Hyundai Sonata is a very comfortable vehicle and this vehicle came completely decked out with all of the latest safety features and technology. The navigation system worked perfectly and got us where we needed to go when we needed to get there.
I also loved all of the features to track my energy usage. This was such an amazing vehicle and at the best, I even was able to get 58 miles per gallon. I have never gotten that many miles on a gallon of gas in a vehicle before!
I shared some additional thoughts on the 2016 Hyundai Sonata Plug-In Hybrid. Hope you watch!
