I was asked recently to try and use Truvia to make some great new Cocktails for the new year. Seeing that I had not used Truvia much in the past I was interested to see what their recipes would taste like when using Truvia.
For me I tried out making the Hurricane as well as the Simple Syrup and I have to say that I was surprised to find how great the drink tasted as well as how easy it was to make. On top of the Hurricane I was happy to see how easy it was to make the simple syrup. Going to the store and buying this you will pay at least $4.00 for a smaller bottle. You can save a ton of money by making your own (like you see below) and I have to say that I did not notice much difference in the overall flavor!
All-in-all these recipes were great and I will say that I was impressed to find how well Truvia works with the preparation of these drinks. If you are looking for a low calorie, great tasting alternative, look no further than Truvia!
Take a look at the below twelve recipes and let me know what sounds good to you!
