My Take on the Movie
Every one of us brings along baggage in our lives that shape us into who we are. This movie really explores the genesis of a song that has become so well known over the years and what really brought the writer into writing the song itself. The movie itself was both inspiring and moving and there were points in which you may find that there is something in your eye (just saying). While the movie was a Christian film, it was not overdone. The acting was strong and the plot worked well and the characters connected well together and with the audience. The movie brings out some powerful messages and allows you to see the both the power of forgiveness and the importance of dealing with the issues of your own past to bring you to a new future. This is a must see!
