As I moved into the weekend, I was looking to get some meat to throw on the grill, especially because it was a long weekend and the whole family would be together.
For me, I like getting high-quality meats because I have tried other cuts, and it never holds up with the flavor I want or my family wants.
This is why I was excited to find out about the meats available at Southside Market and Barbeque. While I do not live in Texas, I have friends that swear by this restaurant and the homemade meats that they have.
So I grabbed some of their beef sausage as we all love to grill this up. One of the things that I was impressed with when it came to this sausage is that what you see is what you get. There are no fillers in this meat. As you can see below, it is beef and all-natural spices.
So today I threw a few of these onto our grill and followed the instructions. These do take a bit longer to cook (20 min each side), but the time is worth it!
One of the things that I loved in tasting this sausage was the amazing flavor. The beef sausage has a nice smokey oak flavor that permeates the meat. This was the original flavor and it did have some cracked pepper in the flavor as well, which left a little bit of heat in your throat afterward. However, Southside Market & Barbeque also has Hot Beef Sausage (which I did not try), so if you want more heat, you also have an option.
All-in-all, I am definitely a fan of Southside Market & Barbeque, and if you love Texas-style meats, this is definitely a store that you will want to check out for yourself. Click here to explore more!
