Genesis G90 – The Next Level of Luxury

This is my review of the 2017 Genesis G90. If you have never heard of the new Genesis line of vehicles get ready for luxury beyond what you have thought of at a price below some of the other named brands you may know. Genesis embodies a smarter, more progressive approach to luxury with innovation and styling seamlessly integrated into your life.

I did not know what to expect of this brand, but I have driven some of it’s sister brand’s (Hyundai) vehicles in the past and actually purchased a Hyundai Santa Fe a few months ago I was that impressed with the quality and features on the vehicle itself. Thus I was definitely expecting similar quality and I was not disappointed in the Genesis G90.

The Genesis G90 is completely loaded with all of the bells and whistles you would expect on a luxury sedan but it offered even more. The vehicle had a ton of power. With a V8 engine touting a 5.0L direct injection DOHC 32-valve engine giving you 450 HP and 383 LB/ft of torque this vehicle does not hold back and you have all of the power that you need to get where you want.

On top of this though you also have a sleek design with very unique and classy touches that make this a car that makes you feel like a professional and like you are driving in complete style. The interior is plush and gives all 5 passengers a ton of room to be comfortable. The back seat is huge and depending on the driver and passenger seat placement, the people in back get more leg room than I have seen in most vehicles.

The Genesis G90 also offers control for all. Both in the front and back passengers can control their environment. From the sound system to environmental and seat controls, everything can be customized by the individual riding in the vehicle.

Speaking of sound system. The Genesis G90 is super quiet. Riding on the highway or on city roads you are isolated from outside noise which allows you to enjoy the amazing stereo sound system that is in this vehicle. The vehicle offers you 17 speakers which offers you premium sound that is unmatched from other vehicles that I have driven thus far.

You also can get where you need to be with ease by using the amazing 12.3 inch HD navigation system. This display was HUGE and I have never seem a display as large of this and it was so nice to have.

Finally, the Genesis G90 is a vehicle that is so comfortable to ride within. The vehicle also offers you multi-adjustable bucket seats with Nappa leather. When I say adjustable I mean it. The vehicle offers you seats that offers you a 22-way power driver seat with lumbar support and even a 16-way power front passenger seat with power lumbar support too.

The Genesis G90 offers it all for a price tag that rivals many other competitors. The 2017 G90 RWD 5.0 Ultimate that I drove comes in at a price of $70,650, but it is worth every penny for what you get.
