It is summer and that means it’s time to get outside. This is definitely my mantra when the summer months come around in Michigan. The challenge would being outside, playing with kids, etc. is that this also means that you’re going to have to deal with sweat and everything that that brings along with i which means that long-lasting deodorant is a must.

Outside of just being outside, more recently I started exercising again. As anyone that has gotten on a workout schedule know sometimes you fall of the wagon, this is what happened to me in the past. The summer though, I purposely set aside some goals to get back in shape and to get back on a routine of working out daily (or close to daily). Over the last 3 weeks I have really been keeping to my schedule, and because I am doing more strenuous workouts, that means, just like in doing outside activities, I am sweating a lot.

With all the sweating, I need to know that I have a long-lasting deodorant that works completely and gives me the protection that I know that I need. The one thing that usually stops me from using some companies is that they don’t offer a straight out deodorant, but instead a plethora of antiperspirant, which is a product that I cannot use due to allergic reactions. The other thing that I look for is a company that is open and honest about what they are using in their product and that they use natural ingredients, which is not always the case with other companies. In my years of using deodorant, I have come to find that Tom’s of Maine is a company that not only meets both of these requirements, but they go beyond this and really go to the next level for the customer. They also give back to the community as a corporation and are green. All of these things and more have really made me a person that loves this company and what they provide.

 

Unfortunately for me there is no Tom’s of Maine products that close to where I live so whenever I need to pick some more up I use Amazon’s new program (their pantry) to get this and other supplies. The last time that I ordered I ordered the Men’s Deodorant. In regards to Tom’s deodorant in general, I will be one to say that it really provides great long-lasting coverage. No matter if I just ran a 5K, mowed the grass, or am simply in the office I know that I am covered! The company also has a long history or providing great products and results. I had no idea that they had been in business since 1970 until I did a bit more research recently, but now it makes sense, as they are doing it right and giving me and others exactly what we need when it comes to providing the long-lasting deodorant coverage that I and others need, especially in the summer months.
