YesVideo Now Provides You The Easy Ability To Share Videos!

Some of you may remember that a while back I wrote a number of posts about what YesVideo provides customers. I had the opportunity to send in some of my videos and had a great experience with YesVideo and loved the outcome. If you did not see these YesVideo posts, I will share them below:

Recently, YesVideo introduced a new service that allows transferred videos to be easily shared online. With Video embedding being one of the  more popular things to do lately they made it happen and below you will see a video that originally I had converted to DVD, now being offered online. What is best about the service is how easy it is to use. With only a few clicks I was able to create a HTML code that I was able to use to share the below video with you.  Once the HTML was made all I had to do was “Copy & Paste” into this post and you see the results!    As I said, this system so easy to use and YesVideo does a great job at transferring your home videos into videos that you can not only share easily but the quality that you get on DVD is great too. I highly recommend that you check out this service today and see for yourself the amazing quality that it can provide you too. Check out the new service here – http://share.yesvideo.com/

Capturing Simple Memories Can Be As Important as Big Ones #YesMemory SPON

June 13, 2012 by dadofdivas 25 Comments

Last night we had a fun time watching some fun movies, setting up a fun family movie night. I always love family movie nights as it is a time for all of us to be able to spend time together just sitting around, not stressed, not fighting, but instead having fun!

Prior to our movie night we pulled out a game of Sequence. We had played Sequence for Kids in the past and we own both games, so I made the decision to see how Diva-J, our 6 year old could handle the more adult game. It was not easy for her, but she did fine. I did get a little frustrated in the teaching of the game to her, but had to step back and breathe and just let it happen. We had fun and then jumped into or movie night.

What I love about these impromptu nights is that they are simple, but they mean a lot. I know that many times I forget to capture these events on video or on camera, but the more that I see my kids aging, the more that I know that this is important and when I do capture these memories it is very important to know how I will keep the images and videos safe. I have had a few experiences where CD’s that I have burned get destroyed, so I have ended up falling back on using multiple copies of CD’s and multiple hard drives to make sure that my memories do not disappear. On top of this though I have also started to use YesVideo as a way to bring together my videos and CD’s into one place and consolidating them into a beautiful display for the whole family! I have made 4 DVD’s thus far and they all came out great. I look forward to continuing to use their services in the future and I highly recommend you consider it as well.

If you are interested, YesVideo will be having a #IHeartDad Twitter Party that I will be a part of – http://blog.yesvideo.com/?p=469

They also are also having a photo contest now live for the #iHeartDad campaign.  For each entry entered YesVideo is donating $5 towards the Jack and Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation and the randomly selected winner will receive a $60 transfer service from YesVideo.  No judging nor voting will take place.  We will also feature photos on our Timeline Cover photo on FB and our wall.  We would love you to enter and/or mention this on Twitter or in your post if you don’t mind.  Link: https://www.facebook.com/yesvideo/app_198645986849938

So for us, we snuggled up and were able to have a good time in jammies, under a blanket, having a great time together, and most importantly, spending time together!

What would you do if you had a family movie night to make it special?

Saving Memories Though My Photos (@YesVideo) #YesMemory SPON

April 25, 2012 by dadofdivas 17 Comments

Whenever I go somewhere I take a camera. Whether I am with my family or I am alone. Why do I do this? Well… for me I am a bit of a photographer, amateur at best, but still a photographer none-the-less. I feel that it is important to be able to capture memories to be able to share with others and I do this through the images that I capture and then I go from there and tell stories about the images that I have.

The challenge I run into though is storing the images in a safe place so that they are easy to access, but also so that they are safe from corruption. I have purchased two external hard drives and so far one has stopped working because it is not compatible with upgraded software and the other is getting full already too.

That is why I was impressed that YesVideo offers the opportunity to burn your images onto DVD’s. I know that when I burn them myself I am always running up against the challenge of time as it does take quite a bit of my time to be able to make any DVDs that I want. With YesVideo, all I have to do is send off my images to them and they do all the heavy lifting. Also, I have security of mind to know that the images and other materials that I send in are secure as YesVideo keeps all material that they receive locked up and tagged until they are being used and then they send it back to me in just as secure of a manner.

Why do I like keeping my images on DVD? Well, for me I tend to look at them more and I can easily bring them out and share them with others too. No longer do they sit on a hard drive and only get looked at every so often.

I completely recommend the services of YesVideo to help you preserve your own family memories, as in my opinion, safe guarding them is as important as the memories themselves.
