A House With Kids Can Be Loud, Your Dishwasher Shouldn’t Be: Bosch Dishwashers at Best Buy

I love to cook for my family and also cook with my kids when I can too. The issue though is that whenever I cook I tend to make a bigger mess. When the kids cook by themselves the mess tends to be even larger. With that in mind I need a dishwasher that has a ton of features that will take care of the messy situations that happen.

So why do I want in a dishwasher for myself and for my family?

I want a dishwasher that is quiet. Why, because life does not stop when I need to get things cleaned. I have had loud dishwashers in the past and it really stops you from being able to keep doing things while.

A Dishwasher that performs

Not only do I want a dishwasher that is quiet, but I want one that cleans thoroughly and that is where Bosch dishwashers come in. I went to my local Best Buy I was particularly impressed with the 800 Series and some of the features that it offers that makes Bosch an amazing dishwasher brand.

First, I love how much energy this dishwasher saves. The Bosch 100 Series units are ENERGY STAR certified to save energy and run efficiently. These units also have a triple filtration system that ends up removing food particles, and also have 6 different cleaning options making it completely possible to clean everything completely. The Bosch 800 offers a variable spray pressure system that has high and low sprayers that cleans hard-to-reach places. There is even a high-temperature wash with sanitizing option which helps to reduce bacteria and enhance drying. I mean Bosch owns 5 of the top 10 drying scores out of 160 tested dishwashers by a leading consumer publication.

Design

I want a dishwasher that is easy to control and the BOSCH 800 series is super simple. With the touch of a single button on the front of the dishwasher you can get things started. Easy operation is achieved via the touch button front panel controls. What was also amazing to me was the amount of items you can fit in the Bosch 800. This dishwasher can fit up to 14 place settings and the upper rack can be adjusted manually for different heights. The silverware basket is even removable. All of this being said, this dishwasher offers an Adjustable Rackmatic™ rack which provides 9 adjustable positions giving you maximum loading flexibility.

Quiet

There are 18 sound reducing technologies built in, making this the quietest dishwasher available. In talking to the people at Best Buy I was told that it is so quiet that the only way you know that it is on is through seeing that the InfoLight ® is on.

Eight Sleep: A Mattress That Provides Great Comfort!

Nature’s Logic Offers High Quality Dining for Cats

As I get ready for the new year I cannot forget to make sure that I have not forgotten about my furry friends. Just like I make sure that I feed my wife and kids the best, I also like to make sure that our cats also have great food to eat.

Recently I was introduced to a new cat food brand for me, Nature’s Logic. What I love about this brand is that Nature’s Logic is dedicated to offering diets that are made exclusively with whole foods and 100% natural ingredients. This mans that their foods:

Are free of common allergens and include no corn, wheat, rice, soy, potato, tapioca, peas, or sweet potatoes
Contain natural antioxidants from fruits and vegetables grown in the USA

I tested out a few of their dry and wet food options with our three cats and I have to say that I am impressed by the high quality ingredients and also how well my cats loved this food! Just look below and you will see how much one of my cats loved the wet Nature’s Logic food.

This being said the dry food is also filled with just as great ingredients and I am seeing that I do not have to give as much food to the cats as they are getting full on less.

Holiday Gift Guide – Monitoring Teen Online Activity Is Easier With Roqos

Roqos was a very unique device as it looks at security in new ways. This is a Wi-Fi router that is super simple to set up – easy enough for anyone to set up! Second, Roqos is set up to provide parents with a system that lets them pause the Internet at the press of a button, and also give filtering and blocking controls – controls you cannot get in other ways. Third, Roqos provides a cloud-based cyber-security system that monitors all network traffic through Deep Packet Inspection.

The Roqos easily connects to your modem and comes with additional Ethernet LAN ports.

The Roqos is price effective. The initial hardware costs $19 which is reasonable. On top of this costs you also have to be willing to pay for the one-year subscription to the security service which will costs $17 per month (with a full-year subscription up front). So wteruhileo the cost is less for the equipment with the subscription you are paying about the same you will pay for other routers but with a lot more safeguards for your family.

In setting up the router itself I do have to say that it was super simple to set up and I can see wrhy they state that it is one of the easiest to set up. Once set up I downloaded the Roqos app and found that it allowed me to change many of the internal settings of the router.

The Roqos is fast. It works on an Intel Atom processor (quad-core 64-bit, 1.91 GHz cores), 2GB of memory and 8GB of storage. There’s four additional Gigabit Ethernet ports that you can use for wired networking or additional LAN support. On the wireless side, the device offers 802.11ac wireless with 3×3 on the 5GHz frequency, and 2×2 802.11n on the 2.4GHz frequency. There’s also a USB 3.0 port if you want to attach an external storage drive.

The second goal of the device is around parental controls. As my kids get older I want to have more controls over what my kids can or cannot see. With the Roqos network set up, you can use the app to create user profiles for your family members and then attach specific devices to those profiles.

All-in-all I have been very impressed with the Roqos and I think you will be too!!

Naturebox Gives You Amazing Lunch Box Snacks!

When it comes to snacks my kids are always cleaning out our cupboards whether it is before school, after school or begging for great snacks for their school lunches. So as you can probably guess, J-Mom and I are always trying to make sure that the snacks that we do have in stock are high quality with great ingredients. While we usually look at our local stores, sometimes we have a hard time finding the quality non-processed foods available.

Lately we have turned online to make our life easier, and we recently learned about NatureBox. NatureBox is a company the focusses on high quality snacks delivered right to your door. You simply go online to their website, create a plan for the number of snacks that you prefer, select your snacks and you are off.

When we first went to the site and started looking around, my first impression was WOW, there are some amazing snacks here that I have never seen anywhere else. On top of this, the price for the high quality natural snacks was reasonable and the convenience of delivery was even better. Some of the things I was most impressed with was that Naturebox seemed to offer the customer bold and delicious snacks as well as a personalized experience for me. On top of this, you could tell that they truly take pride in the snacks that they are creating and that they are thoughtful when it comes to putting together the snacks themselves. The snacks offered no artificial content and was made with high quality materials, which is what I want for my children’s lunches, but also for anytime snacking too.

Looking through the NatureBox snacks we selected about 7 that we wanted to try for ourselves that ranged from Salted Carmel Pretzel Pops to Sriracha cashews to roasted pumpkin seeds and more.

Not only were the NatureBox snacks ones that J-Mom and I loved, but my kids actually liked them too. The snacks tasted fresh and were just the right size. They a;so were the perfect size for use to use to incorporate into our kids’ lunches and we have been surprising them with fund snacks everyday this week thus far and when they came home they asked for more (which is always a great sign).

Skylanders Superchargers Is Changing The Face of Videogames

I have been a video game lover for years. Starting when I was a kid starting on the Commodore 64 and moving on, I have been experiencing and trying different games and gaming systems through the years, but since the beginning, Skylanders has been a company that continues to push the gauntlet in trying new things and being innovative in their approaches.

I was first introduced to when I went to New York City for a Toy Show that I attended. I loved the different characters and the interactive nature of the characters with their elements as well as with the game and the player too. Skylanders has continued to grow as they added new lines to their game. Adding , and the game not only changed, but you continued to get new characters, a new story and new interactivity within the game too. Just recently you may have seen that Skylanders did it again and just released their newest game, . This game brought the game to a new level adding in vehicles to the Skylanders world. The game incorporates a racing style where you can use characters that are unique to this game but also from all of the other games too. I have game pieces from all of the different games and I loved that they were interchangeable.

Skylanders has created a unique partnership with Nintendo and you will find some cross-over characters in this game to ones you have come to know and love like and . On the bottom of these characters you will find that there is a toggle that will let you select whether you want to use them in Skylanders Superchargers or if you want to use them as an on the Nintendo platform.

The game itself had great graphics and controls and you were able to truly take control of the vehicles that you were in. Whether you are in a plane, car or something in between, you have a ton of fun. Also, having three levels of difficulty helps you to have some challenge. You also can unlock new things as you go along so the game has a long shelf life.

All-in-all we have been having a ton of fun with this and it really has re-energized our passion for Skylanders!

Local 2-player head-to-head racing in split screen (offline)
Online competitive racing with up to 4 players playable in land, sea, and sky environments

TPO, A New Kind of Cell Phone Company!

I have been trying out The People’s Operator or TPO for a few months now and have been really impressed thus far with their cell phone service and how they give back to others.

Creating the Perfect Setup For A Podcasting Studio With Samson

Many of you know that I started a podcast with Don Jackson over at Daddy Newbie in May called Dad Spotlight! We are fifteen episodes in and continue to love what we are doing and sharing with others.

On top of this I also started a podcast at my work called Law School Insider to help those people thinking about going to law school or those that were already in law school to give them a better understanding of law school success.

As I started along this journey at work I did not have much equipment. I had one microphone at home that I would bring back and forth and its’ quality was a bit lacking. I also did not have a mixer either. Now starting off, I have to say that I do not know whether you have to have a mixer, but I will say that it is a lot easier, and you have so much more control when you do have a mixer.

So in starting a studio in my office at work, I knew I needed a good quality microphone and mixer to be able to take my podcasts to the next level. Lucky for me, I learned about some amazing products that Samson has on the market that really provide a very high quality experience for a very inexpensive price.
