When you are visiting Henderson County take some time in Hendersonville, North Carolina to visit the Appalachian Pinball Museum . The Appalachian Pinball Museum has a collection of both vintage & contemporary pinball machines as well as video games that you can play for one low cost of $10/day. The Appalachian Pinball Museum is open from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday and closed Tuesday and it’s open from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 6 p.m. Sun.
As you walk in the Appalachian Pinball Museum you will find that you are greeted in the museum itself by some very old pinball machines. Each machine that you see has a card on top of it that tells when the game was released and the number of machines that were made. While the vast majority of games are pinball machines, you will be surprised to find how many different pinball games there were and each was quite different than the others.
The Appalachian Pinball Museum also has a number of Arcade games as well. The Arcade Games brought me back as many of them are ones that I played a ton when I was young.
All of the games are set for unlimited play. Once you have paid your $10 fee for all day you can come and go as you please and play for as long as you want.
My whole family had a ton of fun exploring so many games that we had never played before. The Appalachian Pinball Museum is so much fun. Whether you are trying to escape a rainy day or just want to spend some time just having fun, this museum is definitely one that I would highly recommend to all!
