Up Your Game in Business With This Amazing Phone Case

As a professional I am always looking for things that will make my life more efficient. Recently I just found a new phone case that will revolutionize what you think of hen you think of a phone case!

Expand your phone’s features with the OtterBox uniVERSE Case System.

If you have read this blog in the past you know that I love technology but you may also not know that I am trying to balance many things to stay on top of things and to stay engaged as a father and a professional. For me, less is more so having something with interchangeable parts makes my life even better!

Expand your phone’s features with the OtterBox uniVERSE Case System.

I currently rely on Otterbox for my own cell phone and the new Otterbox – Universe Series is their newest case and being a case that I know and I trust it was one I was excited about too. This new case is currently available for iPhone 6/6s and iPhone 6 Plus/6s Plus, and in black and snowcapped. The nice thing is that Otterbox is offering a number of modules for this already and it seems that this will only expand in the future.

The case has a slotted rail under its removable accent place. This allows you to attach and swap modules without removing your case.

Expand your phone’s features with the OtterBox uniVERSE Case System.

Current OtterBox uniVERSE Case System modules:

  • Square contactless & chip reader (accept credit cards on the go)
  • Olloclip (4-in-1 lens kit to make your camera pro)
  • Polar Pro (power pack battery)
  • Seek Thermal (thermal camera)
  • Steelie (vent mount for the car)
  • Sandisk (flash drive)

I am really excited about the Olloclip and the Seek Thermal for not but the Polar Pro also sounds cool too! As you can see these modules are really versatile and can help you in business in many different ways.

The Otterbox – Universe Series is definitely a phone case that is futuristic and I for one love it!!

Nokia (@NokiaUS) Lumia 900 Phone is a Great Fathers Day Gift

June 8, 2012 by dadofdivas 17 Comments

Today’s Dad is equally involved in his career and in raising his family. The need to feel connected also drives Dad to share his family’s achievements. A recent study found that 56% of new Dads post family photos online at least two times a week. With built-in social networking on Windows Phone, sharing pictures with friends and family on Facebook and Twitter is a snap. It’s like the Swiss Army Knife of work-life-balance – it offers loads of features that make everyday tasks fast. This Father’s Day, give him the Nokia Lumia 900, which offers style and time savings for $99.99. Available on AT&T’s super-fast LTE network, here’s a peek at the features that will help Dad get the most out of his free time:

  • People Hub/Camera – Updating his social networks has never been easier or faster than with built-in Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. With Windows Phone, it takes only four seconds to take a picture and upload it to a social network. It’s simply faster than other phones.
  • Office Hub – With the Office Hub, he can edit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents right from his phone. He’ll even be able to skip out a few hours early and play hooky at the baseball game by sending email and updating those documents from anywhere.
  • Groups – Put Dad in charge of the family reunion this year. With Groups he can easily group people together – family, friends, or colleagues – and pin them to his start screen. He can then check on all their social media updates in once place and keep everyone updated on the annual family get-together at once.
  • Music + Videos – The Music + Videos Hub in Windows Phone puts all of Dad’s media in one place. It’s his destination for all things media and entertainment, including finding and playing his favorite songs, videos or podcasts; listening to FM radio; and downloading or streaming music from the Web. And, if Dad hears a great new song but doesn’t recognize it, he can use the new Bing Music feature to identify the song and take him to Zune Marketplace to purchase or stream it

  • Apps –

ESPN ScoreCenter: Bringing him scores, news, and standings from hundreds of sports leagues around the world. ScoreCenter offers the most comprehensive global sports coverage available on the Windows
Phone.

Flixster: be the first Dad on the block to see all this summer’s blockbuster action flicks. With Flixster, Dad can view the top box office leaders, upcoming movies, and new DVD releases, and watch high quality
trailers for over 15,000 blockbuster and indie flicks

MSN Onit: Every day, dad will find new photos of beautiful cars, financial tips and fitness tips, style advice and sports updates, DIY from steak grilling to demolition–plus a touch of science, a touch of
entertainment, and a laugh or two.

The Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone from AT&T is a premiere device priced at $99.99 with a two-year contract, making it an affordable gift for Dad that doesn’t skimp on quality or user experience.

@TMobile Samsung ( @samsungtweets ) Galaxy II Phone is Amazing

December 5, 2011 by dadofdivas Leave a Comment

About the Phone

The follow-up to the extremely successful GALAXY S, Samsung’s GALAXY S II is a powerhouse of a smartphone in a fantastically sleek and lightweight design. Considerably thinner than the original GALAXY S and rivals such as the iPhone 4 (8.49mm v 9.3mm) the GALAXY S II is stunningly light (only 117g) and packs the latest version of Android (Gingerbread). The one feature most people will notice immediately is Samsung’s best ever screen; the monster 4.27-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen runs at 480 x 800 resolution, has colours visibly brighter and more vivid than other phones, better contrast and lower power consumption, and performs superbly for gaming and watching video. Plus there’s an 8.1 megapixel camera with full 1080p HD video recording, video playback at 30 frames per second and a dual-core processor, with each core running at a blistering 1Ghz for an incredibly responsive experience. The GALAXY S II comes with four hubs to help you make the most of your Galaxy S II; Social, your chatting life in one place, Readers, Samsung’s new ebook reader area, Game, the easiest way to download and play the best games, and Music, with access to over 12 million tracks.

My Take on the Phone

What was interesting about this phone was the concept of a landline phone that connects directly to your cell service, which provides you with a great option, especially if you are a household that only has cell service in your home. Because this phone is connected through blu-tooth technology, you can even download your contacts from your cell onto this phone. This process was so easy and I found that the contacts moved so easily to the phone that I was able to try.

Once connected I found that as long as I placed the phone where you receive good cell signal this phone provides you with very clear service. If you plan to use the connect to cell service function, you do need to make sure that you have either unlimited service or a lot of minutes as you can definitely use this phone quite a bit.

The other nice thing about this phone was that if you do not want to use the cell phone service you can also connect this phone to a land line letting you use the best of both services!

The phone is very easy to use and to set up and for the price this offers families with great flexibility as well as peace of mind to know that you will have a communication plan set up when you need it!
