As a dad that makes lunches for his kids I have gone through my good share of Peanut Butter over the years. I have gone through so many of the brands that you usually find in the Unites States, and some have been positive and some negative experiences. In my experiences I have to say that for us we are looking for both great taste and consistency, and some of the bigger-brands seem to lose this, along with freshness, along the way.

This is one reason I was very excited to try out Pic’s Really Good Peanut Butter. My youngest daughter has been getting very interested lately in having peanut butter toast for breakfast in the morning which has amped up our peanut butter consumption lately, so trying something new was perfect for us as a family.

When I received the Pic’s Really Good Peanut Butter, I first noticed that due to the freshness of this, they state on the outside of the container that you needed to store this upside down and that you needed to shake or stir the Pic’s Really Good Peanut Butter before eating and looking at it from the outside you can see this as it looks a bit more liquefied than other brands might. Even though this is the case, once you open it up, stir it, you have the same consistency as you would typically get with other brands too.

Outside of the difference in regards to where the peanuts were coming from (Australia), you also can tell by looking at the ingredients that you are getting top quality peanut butter here! Even better though is the taste and overall consistency. After tasting this I believe that you will taste the difference immediately. It is hard for me to describe here, though I will tell you that both my daughters and I were completely impressed. We loved the flavor and it was super smooth.
