2017 Mazda6 Grand Touring – Style, Control And Great Gas Mileage!

This is my review of the 2017 Mazda6 Grand Touring. Very impressed by the style, control, space and gas mileage in this great car.

The 2017 Mazda6 Grand Touring allows you to have style, comfort and reliability all in a single package.

The 2017 Mazda6 offered tons of leg room, safety and comfort throughout the car. The trunk was HUGE for a car of this size. Also, the 2017 Mazda6 has a ton of pick up for highway driving.

I do a lot of driving between home and work and thus I am always looking for vehicles that offer great gas mileage and this one delivers. With a combined gas mileage of 35 MPG you can really drive a long ways on one tank of gas.

You get all of the bells and whistles as it comes to full technology within the car and everything, including some optional features that I was not aware of bring this vehicle to  just under $35.000.

All-in-all this is a great vehicle for a small family or the Bachelor!2017 Mazda6 Grand Touring – Style, Control And Great Gas Mileage!

Mazda CX-9 - Plenty of Room for the Whole Family

 photo disclaimer_zpsaa1cb05b.jpg

Over the past week I have been able to drive the 2016 Mazda CX-9. As you know I have a family of four so I need a vehicle that has plenty of space, but I am also looking for a vehicle that is safe for my family but is also comfortable and handles well too and the Mazda CX-9 definitely provided all of these.

With a price point in the mid $40,000 this is a vehicle that may seem a bit than some families can afford but I will say that for the price you are getting every bell and whistle that you could imagine.

I found that the vehicle was very comfortable. I took it on a few trips and found that it not only provided comfort for long distances, but it also provided great gas mileage for the size of the vehicle too.

This Mazda CX-9 offered seven passengers enough room to get to where you needed to go. You do have to move the seat in the second row to get in the third row, but it was easy enough to do.

There were also some cool safety features on this Mazda CX-9. This offered a heads up display that allowed you to keep your eyes on the road at all time and even gives you a warning about people stopping fast in front of you. This along with many of the safety features you would come to expect on Mazda’s you and you family will be very safe!

I shared a few additional thoughts on the Mazda CX-9 below. Hope you will watch and enjoy!

The 2016 Mazda 3 Offers Power and Precision In a Small Package

On my last trip to Tampa for business I had the opportunity to try out the 2016 Mazda 3. I have driven a number of Mazda vehicles before but the 2016 Mazda 3 was a fun one that offered a sporty suspension and a tom of power, pep and style.

As someone that really needs to get around town when I am working, this vehicle really allowed me to get everywhere that I needed and I definitely turned some heads while driving in this small, but sporty vehicle.

The 2016 Mazda 3 is sporty, and offers great handling and power

The vehicle had every feature that I wanted in a vehicle and being in Florida I was able to take advantage of the moonroof and let the sunshine in!

The vehicle was a comfortable ride and even though it was a smaller vehicle I was easily able to fold down the seats and fit even more in than I thought I would initially be able to. I was also impressed with how much I was able to fit in the trunk even without folding down the seat.

We even had some rain showers while in Tampa and I was able to try out the rain sensing windshield wipers which were very cool. This was a nice feature that I had not tried in the past.

You could easily sync your phone with the car for hands-free calling and SMS text message delivery too.

The 2016 Mazda 3 had great stability control and really handled well in all of the conditions that I drove in.

Best of all was the price and fuel economy, with all of the extras that this had it would have cost me $30,270 for the vehicle and with getting 27 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway I could not complain at all!

Below is a video of some further thoughts on the vehicle!

Recently I had the opportunity to try out the 2016 Mazda CX-3 AWD. The 2016 Mazda CX-3 AWD has a very comfortable ride that really gave you some great style, comfort and handling on the road. I was impressed by how well it handled in all weather conditions and while there were a few design issues that I noted in my video review, the overall experience was very positive.

The 2016 Mazda CX-3 AWD

While driving this you will find that it is a comfortable ride and that you will see that you will get great gas mileage too. At 27 (city) and 32 (highway) you can go quite a ways without any issues. Also with a price tag of $27,670 the vehicle that I drove was completely loaded and we would have everything that we needed with all of the extras that you receive!

As you can see the vehicle has some great style features too. All-in-all I was very impressed. Watch my video review for a more in-depth review!

The Mazda6 is Sporty & Offers Great Comfort, Suspension & Safety

August 29, 2015 by dadofdivas Leave a Comment

Mazda6

 photo disclaimer_zpsaa1cb05b.jpg

From time to time I get the opportunity to take a new car for a spin, and when I am away for work and have this opportunity sometimes I get to have fun with sportier cars. This was the case with the new Mazda6 that I got to drive recently.

I was really impressed with the Mazda6, not only did it drive great, but it looked great too. I was very impressed with how well it reacted while driving, and how good of gas mileage I was getting throughout my trip.

For me, control and power are two things I am looking for in a car and the Mazda6 gave me that in droves. The car had 184 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque – talk about power!

One top of this though the car was packed with safety features. Not only do you get amazing protection from airbags, but with other safety features including blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, collision warning, a rear camera and more you are completely covered!

As you can probably see in my pictures, the color of car that I got to drive was very cool (though it will turn some heads for better or worse!)

All-in-all I was really impressed with the car, and how well it drove. Though it would be a bit tight if you are looking for familyelated trips, you still can get their in comfort and style!

The Mazda CX5 Offers A Comfortable, Quiet Drive #dadchat

October 24, 2014 by dadofdivas Leave a Comment

mazda-cx5 photo disclaimer_zpsaa1cb05b.jpg
 About the Mazda CX5

The Mazda CX-5, engineered with SKYACTIV®TECHNOLOGY, is unique among crossovers for its impressive efficiency, responsive handling and bold style. And according to leading automotive journalists, that’s just the beginning.

mazda-cx5

CONQUER MORE HIGHWAY ON LESS FUEL.

First Mazda dared to engineer a gasoline engine that could rival hybrid and diesel alternatives. And this conviction resulted in the 2.0L SKYACTIV®-G-powered CX-5 that boasts best-in-class EPA-estimated 35 highway MPG, better than all other SUVs—even hybrids.††
Then Mazda dared to engineer the new 2.5L that delivers even more horsepower while still achieving class-leading EPA-estimated fuel efficiency.

mazda-cx5

TRACTION FOR ALL ROADS AND SEASONS.

With Mazda’s available smart traction technology, the CX-5 helps you conquer challenging terrain and weather. Active Torque Split All-Wheel Drive can instantly adjust power between the front and rear axles to take advantage of available traction and help you stay in control. And thanks to SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY, there’s little burden on your fuel economy.

SMART CITY BRAKE SUPPORT

Available Smart City Brake Support helps minimize or possibly prevent frontal collisions when driving between 2 and 18 mph. The system automatically applies the brakes if it determines that a collision with an obstruction ahead is unavoidable.

ADAPTIVE FRONT-LIGHTING SYSTEM

The available Adaptive Front-lighting System turns the headlight beams to improve visibility around corners using input from the vehicle’s speed and steering angle.

BLIND SPOT MONITORING

Available Blind Spot Monitoring alerts you if a vehicle or object is in one of your blind spots and it’s unsafe to change lanes.

ALL-WHEEL DRIVE

Available all-wheel drive helps improve traction in rain, snow and rugged terrain.

REARVIEW CAMERA

For those who don’t have eyes in the backs of their heads, the available rearview camera helps detect objects behind the car when it’s geared for reverse.

Mazda 6 ( @MazdaUSA )-Driving in Luxury For A Good Price

November 12, 2013 by dadofdivas Leave a Comment

mazda 6, dad of divas, dadofdivas.com
 photo disclaimer_zpsaa1cb05b.jpg

I had another great opportunity over the last few days to try out the Mazda 6. Just like in my previous Kia Forte review, this was my first experience driving a Mazda and I had a lot of fun. Below is a video of my experiences with the vehicle.

Some information about the vehicle:

  1. Mazda Radar Cruise Control System‡‡‡

Automatically controls the engine and brakes to maintain a safe speed and distance between you and the preceding vehicle.

  2. Forward Obstruction Warning System****

Detects obstructions ahead and warns you of a possible collision.

  3. Smart City Brake Support††††

Helps prevent frontal collisions when driving at low speeds by automatically applying the brakes, if needed.

  4. Lane Departure Warning System‡‡‡‡

Alerts you when the system senses the car drifting unintentionally from its current lane.

  5. Rear Cross Traffic Alert*****

Alerts you if vehicles approach Mazda6’s rear from the side when you’re geared for reverse.

  6. Blind Spot Monitoring*****

Alerts you if a vehicle or object is in one of your blind spots and it’s unsafe to change lanes.

  7. High Beam Control System†††††

Automatically switches from high to low beams when it detects
oncoming traffic, and then back again when it’s clear.

What are your experiences with this brand?
