Working full time, running a blog , running a podcast, sitting on our local school board and some committees at our church and that is just me. Add in my wife’s and my kids’ activities and you can bet that our lives are hectic and sometimes even a bit stress-filled and that leads to a lack of sleep. Restonic Beds to the rescue!

I attempt to take in a nap here and there and sometimes I find that I can get a nap in in the strangest of places. No one ever tells you about the amount of sleep that you will lose when you become a parent, or maybe they do and in the giddiness or excitement of pre-child bliss you tune them out. Then, inevitably, you have your first child and they probably will not sleep through the night. This creates what I always called the zombie-effect where you could be offered anything and in the sleep-deprived stage that you are in, you will say yes to almost anything.

While I love my life and my kids, I can now say that fortunately my kids do sleep, and while I try to get the number of hours of sleep that I am supposed to be getting I know that I am working for a living and trying my best to balance it all. With this in mind I hereby announce my candidacy for being the #KingofRest. Why you might ask is this fine gent worthy of such a title? Well… as you will see below, I have come to find that finding ways to catch those creative ZZZZssssss is oh so important and I am definitely doing my best to hold this #KingofRest title and crown high!

This means that when I get sleep (you may wonder if I do – but I do), I want to have a bed that gives me all of the sounds sleep that I need to get the rest that I can and hold onto my title of #KingofRest even longer!
