When it comes to fathers day weekend I always love to be able to travel to visit my own father and my father-in-law. The challenge with doing this though is that they live quite a ways apart from each other and that takes a lot of time within the car itself.

I was recently asked to try out some great new technology that will help you stay on top of this. The Escort Max 360 is the ultimate in radar and laser detection. Not only is this device easy to use but beyond this it works for so many other things beyond law enforcement. The detector will also detect cool surprises on the road that you might not be expecting (i.e. moose on the road, mudslide, or atmospheric phenomenon). As I was using this I found that it gave amazingly timely insights that helped me to have complete peace of mind while I was driving. I also found that the device was very fast and picked up everything, even things that I was not expecting – talk about precision!

This application, once installed, gives you real-time ticket protection on the road. As you are using it you will see where red light cameras, speed cameras and even speed trap locations can be found. This is an amazing application that really offers you complete coverage and access to information that you will not find anywhere else!

The final piece of technology I was able to try out was the Cobra JumPack. The Cobra JumPack – Tiny but Mighty is something that I was so glad to have received this as you see, as my family and I are on the road inevitably there are times when we need additional power. Whether it be for a cell phone, a gaming device or something else, having a device like the Cobra JumPack not only covers you if your car will not start, but also will cover you for small devices too. Best of all for me is that it offers a 2.4A port which I can tell you, it really charges your phone at a much higher rate than typically.

While I am on the road this weekend visiting family there will be a number of other times this summer when we will be traveling for trips and I am so glad to have found the ESCORT Max 360, ESCORT Live and Cobra JumPack. When I was a kid, I think it was every boy’s dream to have a Swiss Army Knife. I mean how cool were they… they seemed to ahve everything except the kitchen sink built into one tool.

When I received the knife, I was amazed again at how versitile the knife was and the tools that it had available to me. I deceided to test drive it and found a stick and did what I used to do, I started whittling. Needless to say, I was impressed as the blade on the knife worked great and cut through the stick itself like it was nothing.

I also tried out the other tools. I had a few projects which included changing out some light plates so I decided to try out the screwdriver functions, and both worked without fail.

This new Swiss Army knife surpasses my earlier experiences with my earlier knife as well as the other knives that I had used in the past. One thing I really like about this knife (outside of what I have said thus far) is how light the knife was, you hardly notice that yoy are holding the knife at all.
