Taking control of your energy and burning fat with Active-PK

October 5, 2021 by dadofdivas Leave a Comment

Active-PK

Active-PK is a revolutionary formula designed to help fight fatigue and abdominal fat so you can enjoy a stronger, slimmer-feeling body.

This formula works by using natural compounds to help activate AMPK — your metabolic “master switch” — which tells your body to stop storing fat and start converting it into clean, usable fuel. This can lead to more energy, fewer cravings, and a slimmer waistline.

PRODUCT BENEFITS:

  • Help combat abdominal fat
  • Boost natural energy
  • Promote clearer thinking
  • Help minimize cravings
  • Support a strong, slimmer-feeling body

What are the main ingredients in LCR Health Active-PK™?

These are the main ingredients in LCR Health Active PK:

  • Gynostemma pentaphyllum leaf extract
  • Quercetin dihydrate
  • Berberine HCI

How does Active-PK™ work?

This formula contains 2 of the most powerful AMPK-boosting compounds ever discovered — Berberine and Gynostemma. These plant extracts are proven to help your body trim abdominal fat, boost your endurance, and “crank up” your metabolism by maintaining healthy AMPK production.

Active-PK™ also harnesses the power of Quercetin — the AMPK-kickstarter that makes superfood “super” — to help support high energy levels, optimized brain function, and a slim waistline.

My Take on Active-PK

I have been starting the day with two of these pills every morning for the past few weeks and I have really been noticing the difference. I find that after taking this, not only do I have more energy, but I also find that I am not as hungry. As I go and work out, I find that the energy remains and that it has seemed to help with some of the exercises that I have been doing to target my abdomen. This means that the love handles seem to be smaller which is great too! Finally, as I have used this, I have found that I have more energy throughout the day. The energy is not just at the beginning of the day, but it is sustained throughout the day. I have been impressed so far with how well this has worked and I am looking forward to seeing what happens next as I continue taking this in the future!

7 Ways for Hardworking Dads to Live Healthier

January 7, 2020 by dadofdivas Leave a Comment

Fatherhood, like motherhood, comes with a wave of new responsibilities and scenarios that completely change your life forever. Becoming a dad is huge, and being a supportive partner to the mother of your child comes with its pros and cons as well. Much like everything in life, we tend to take on too much when big changes happen. And thinking that you can continue to carry all the responsibilities that you had previous to being a father or mother doesn’t do anyone any good.

This is why we have rounded up a list of things that hard-working dads can implement to live an overall healthier lifestyle in this new stage of fatherhood.

1. First and foremost, you might want to consider getting a bigger bed. Yep, we said it. With fatherhood comes children, and with children comes less bed space for a few years. Do yourself a favor and get as much quality sleep as you can because more than likely you won’t find much time to rest for quite a while. However, getting quality rest is important to decrease stress, mood swings, and to better focus on the tasks you need to do the next day. So make it easy on yourself, instead of deciding whether it’s absolutely necessary to do this, just trust us, you’ll need it. Now for the easy question. Which is better, a California king vs king-sized bed?

2. Save, save, save. Another huge fatherhood tip that will make your life easier and more prepared for whatever life throws your way is to save. Now, of course, you still want to be able to enjoy living your life and taking your family to beautiful places, but there are some really neat ways you can save money without it hindering your actual day to day life.

3. Give yourself some downtime. As a father, you might not really think about your mental health because you might be more focused on the wellbeing of your family, or what work you need to get done tomorrow. But it is crucial that you take some time, even if only for a few minutes, to focus on yourself each day. This could be working out, getting outside, or taking a moment to be still and just think about your day.

4. Eat something healthy every day. You not only want to remain healthy for your family, but you want to live a healthy lifestyle for yourself. A burger might sound delicious, but too much red meat can lead to heart disease. Try opting for healthier options with leaner meats and more greens. No, it doesn’t always have to be a salad, but maybe try a turkey sub with lots of leafy greens and vegetables for a change.

5. Get creative. Take your family out to new places to enjoy and experience life together. It can be so easy to get sucked into a routine without any respite. This can be as simple as visiting a new town thirty minutes away where you can enjoy a coffee with your partner and stroll through a new town.

6. Find camaraderie in others also experiencing fatherhood for the first time themselves. It can really be helpful in spending time with other people that are going through similar life changes as yourself. You are able to share experiences with one another and find support for issues that you might be facing as a new dad.

7. Enjoy each day. Be present in your days and remind yourself of all the things in your life that bring you joy. This simple act can help you feel more positive, motivated, and gain a new sense of overall gratitude and happiness. While this might seem very simple and unimportant, you have to remember that a big life change can shift a person’s emotions quite drastically. It’s important to consider your mental wellbeing just as much as your physical health.

We hope these tips have helped you find some new ways that can help you live a happier and healthier life as a new dad. These tips might seem easy and small, but with consistent practice of each one, you will be able to find a little more balance in understanding how to be healthier all around.

How To Take Better Care Of Everyone’s Health At Home

July 8, 2019 by dadofdivas Leave a Comment

How To Take Better Care Of Everyone’s Health At Home

When you are the healthiest version of yourself, you are also able to achieve a lot more with your day. You feel more inspired, and you simply have the stamina that you need for any tasks that come your way.

Of course, your health won’t be optimal if you don’t take care of it, and this article will go over some tips you should follow that will not only benefit you but everyone else that you live with at home. It’s only natural that you want your family members to be equally healthy, as they are your loved ones and you want the best for them.

By pursuing healthier habits, it is possible for everyone to increase their quality of life. Continue reading for what these habits are.

Taking care of mental health

It is thanks to good mental health that you are able to maintain a positive outlook on life. To take better care of your mind, consider spending quality time with your loved ones, and simply participate in activities that you all enjoy. In other words, always do what makes you happy.

Eating properly

The type of food that you eat will always impact your mental and physical wellbeing alike, so you need to be careful about what you eat. Eating well as a family makes this habit easier to follow, as you can keep one another on track. Not to mention, you are bound to eat the food that you have at home in the first place, and if your fridge is filled with healthy alternatives, then your everyday meals will also be much healthier.

Spend time outdoors and stay active

Spending time outdoors is good for your overall wellbeing, and that is why it is something that you should prioritize doing at all times. Combine this with staying active, as this will not only release endorphins in your brain that make you happy, but it will help you maintain a healthy weight, strengthen your bones and muscles, and much more.

Visiting the doctor

To ensure that you don’t have an impending illness that you don’t even notice, you should regularly visit your doctor for check-ups.

Facing medical negligence

There are some situations where either yourself or your family members have become sick, and this is due to medical negligence. While this isn’t the norm, and this should definitely not deter you from visiting your doctor, you still need to know what to do during all situations that you might encounter.

For example, what do you do if you have a victim to medical negligence while you were giving birth? Which, as a result, means your baby is born with cerebral palsy – a condition in which your muscle coordination is impaired. You will need to make a complex birth injury claim, as soon as you can, and the only way to do so is with the right lawyer or cerebral palsy solicitors.

Supporting someone with this illness is difficult, and it requires the right type of treatment and therapy to get better. You are entitled to the best possible compensation when you or your family are not treated, as you should have been.

While it’s important to look after your family’s health, don’t forget that if you don’t take care of yourself, you won’t be able to properly take of others. It is exactly for this reason that your self-care must never be neglected, and working out as a family, or eating healthy meals together, then adds to the overall healthy lifestyle routine.

Tips for Looking After Your Child’s Health

March 6, 2019 by dadofdivas Leave a Comment

Tips for Looking After Your Child’s Health

Parents want what’s best for their children, and one of the most frequently encountered problems for moms and dads is when their child falls ill. You can’t avoid your kids catching colds and tummy bugs, but it’s distressing to see them unhappy and in pain.

Illness is good for kids

That might sound like a contradiction, but in fact, experiencing childhood illness is an essential element of your child’s long term health. Their growing immune systems need to experience a range of different types of bacteria and viruses in order to develop defenses against them. A child who has never been ill will have a weakened immune system that may not be able to fight off a severe illness, so if you’re tempted to wrap your children in cotton wool, think again.

Healthy lifestyle

Eating a healthy diet and getting plenty of exercise is just as important for kids as it is for adults. Access to unhealthy snacks is so easy that it encourages kids to eat candy and chips, and the increase in indoor based entertainments like TV and gaming means many kids don’t get much exercise.

You need to encourage your kids to be as active as possible, taking them out for walks and bike rides, going swimming, doing dance, gymnastics, or martial arts, or whatever else they take a fancy to! Get them to help you in the garden, and make all these activities as enjoyable as possible to show them how much fun physical exercise can be.

Take a look at what they’re eating, and if you can see they’re not getting their five a day, for instance, have a think about how to increase their intake of fruits and vegetables. Disguising them in pasta sauces is one proven method, and you’ll find plenty of books and websites offering other hints for getting kids to eat their greens. You might have more luck with fruit, as children tend to enjoy fruit more, but try as many different foods and recipes as you can to help you find the ones that your child will eat.

Looking after a sick child

When your kids do get ill, make sure you know what warning signs to look for that might indicate a more serious illness. If you’re in any doubt, you can call your family doctor for advice. For most childhood illnesses, rest, plenty of fluids, and some TLC will see them back to normal in no time. In the unfortunate event that your child became ill or was made worse by misdiagnosis or negligence on the part of their healthcare provider, contact a specialist solicitor like Minton Morrill for expert advice on whether you have a valid claim for compensation.

You won’t be able to protect your child from every injury or illness, and as already noted, it wouldn’t be good for them if you did. As long as you know how to prevent problems such as childhood obesity, and give your child the best of care when they do get sick, you’ll have a healthy happy child who’ll grow into a strong, healthy adult.

6 Health Tips That Every Dad Should Know

August 8, 2018 by dadofdivas Leave a Comment

6 Health Tips That Every Dad Should Know

When you become a parent, it all too quickly becomes second nature to put the needs of your children before your own. However, what many parents forget is that looking after children requires a lot of energy, and if you don’t make the time to look after yourself, you’ll soon find that your energy stores will start to run dry. Therefore, the best way to give more back to your children is to make your own health and wellbeing a priority too. If you’re unsure of exactly where to start, here are six simple tips to help you get back up and running at maximum capacity.

Make time for exercise

When you’re running about after your kids all day, making time for exercise might not be at the top of your daily to-do list, but it is still something you should try and make time for in your routine. Activities which work the cardiovascular system are really important for improved health and wellbeing, as well as reducing the risk of illnesses like coronary heart disease. Plus, taking part in regular exercise will also set a good example for your kids.

Make healthy choices

Looking at what you eat as a parent is incredibly important for a few reasons; firstly, your children are always watching your behaviors, and if you have bad eating habits, it increases the likelihood that your children will develop them too. Also, not only does your body needs the right balance of foods to function properly, but a healthy ketogenic diet will also reduce the risk of chronic illnesses such as type 2 diabetes.

Prioritize sleep

When it doesn’t seem like there are enough hours in the day, one of the first things parents tend to do is reduce the number of hours they sleep. However, a consistent sleep routine will truly help your body to function better, both in a physical and mental capacity. Too little sleep can result in lack of concentration and increased risk of mental illness, along with promoting poor eating habits and lethargy: none of which are the ideal traits for a hard working parent to be burdened with.

Listen to your body

A lot of dads make the mistake of trying to ‘tough it out’ when they are feeling under the weather, rather than listening to their body and asking for help. If you are feeling as though you might need to take action, whether it’s just a twenty-minute nap to reduce tiredness, or to see a doctor because you are unwell, it is important to do what is best for your wellbeing.

Get regular screening

Not neglecting your body also applies to getting regular physical exams, as this is what will help to prevent you developing a serious illness. Your children rely on you being in the best health that you can be in, so if you can do something which will detect any undiscovered illnesses, it is important that you make time for it.

Don’t suffer in silence

Finally, make sure that if you are struggling, either physically or mentally, that you don’t just suffer in silence, and find someone to open up to. Whether it’s a friend, your spouse, or a medical professional, there is no shame in asking for help when you’re in need.
