For me, I love being outdoors. I love taking a 30 minute run and getting out in fresh air, it opens my mind and allows me to gain some clarity after a crazy day. When I am out doing this though I have to say that I like to either have music or podcasts running in my ears to give me something to focus on. That being said I am always looking for headphones that will give me remarkable sound, while staying securely in my ears so I can just run and not have to worry about the headphones in any aspect.

In my last trip to Best Buy I learned about the JLab Audio – JBuds Air True Wireless Earbud Headphones. After talking to some of the great personnel at Best Buy I came to quickly realize that these are truly-wireless headphones that let you listen to your favorite tracks, so you won’t be held back by wires. This is SO important for me as when I run, wires are such a pain and simply get in the way (and half the time I get tangled up in them).

One of the other very cool things that I found about these headphones is that they have a rechargeable battery that gives you up to 6 hours of charge. This gives me enough time to get in my run, mow the grass and do some other outdoor chores while still being connected, which is amazing!

Because I like to use these type of headphones while working out or running I need ones that are not going to be damaged by sweat and these headphones provide protection from sweat, so you can easily wear headphones while working out. At the same time they offer you a strong Bluetooth interface which allows you the chance to quickly pair with your Bluetooth-enabled device.

These headphones also are designed to be in your ear so they fit securely and directs music into your ears for full, uninterrupted stereo sound.

I am very impressed by these new JLab Audio – JBuds Air True Wireless Earbud Headphones. If you are looking for a great holiday gift for an active family member I would highly recommend these as great additions for your list!

True Noise Canceling Experience With New Sony Wireless Headphones

Over the past week or so my daughter and I tried out the new Sony Wireless Noise Canceling Extra Bass Headphones and Sony True Wireless In-Ear Noise Canceling Headphones. Both of us LOVE music, but we also love the ability to take our music, podcasts and more with us while we are on the go.
Below you will see a video of my daughter trying out the Sony Wireless Noise Canceling Extra Bass Headphones, and as you will see in her video, these headphones are amazing. One of the things that amazed me with both of these headphones was the fact that both have some features that really stood out from others that I have tried in the past.
Active noise cancellation
Effectively blocks out distracting background noises, so you can enjoy a focused, immersive sound environment. I tried both of these on a recent flight and they really did offer incredible noise canceling. They cut out all of the external noise that was around me. As you know, airplanes can be loud, especially if you are sitting in the back of the plane (as I was), and these did the trick to allow me to simply get in my music zen place for the duration of the cross country flight. I truly appreciated the true noise canceling experience, as it made the flight much more enjoyable!
Rechargeable battery
Offers up to 30 hours of use and lasts up to 300 hours on standby mode. As mentioned, I took a cross country flight which was about a 5 hour flight. By the end of the flight the devices were still showing close to full charge which was completely amazing!
Headset touch controls
Include volume, play/pause, next song, going back, tap and hold to activate VA, Quick Attention. When you use these with Bluetooth you have a ton of capabilities, but even if you plug them in the power at the touch of your fingers is remarkable!
Built-in microphone
Enables simple hands-free chatting via a phone. I took a call while in the airport and I found that the person on the other end of the link heard me loud and clear without any issue.
Bluetooth 4.2 interface with NFC (Near Field Communication) technology
Enables simple wireless pairing with your Bluetooth-enabled device. Supports HFP, HSP, A2DP and AVRCP Bluetooth profiles. I have a newer phone and my daughter has a bit older model and between both of us we have both Android and IOS and neither of us had any issues with pairing these to our devices.

I am heading on a cross country trip in a few weeks and lately I have been looking for some new headphones that will allow me to travel and be able to hear what I want to hear without all of music or podcasts that I am listening to. When I am looking for top quality, superior sound, not to mention the right fit on my head.  So, in doing some research, I came across Sennheiser’s NEW M3 Momentum Wireless headphones.
S0, after I heard about this I decided to head over to Best Buy to check these out, as I hate to just go on the word of others. When I got to Best Buy to try this for myself, the first thing I noticed was how sleek, stylish and contemporary these headphones looked. The question though is whether these headphones that looked amazing also could sound great too. To be honest it seems that Sennheiser knew what we were looking for when they designed the NEW M3 Momentum Wireless headphones.  This technology is said to combine sleek and stylish with a sound that is more seamless than ever before.

As I checked out the Momentum Wireless headphones I found that they came in two colors: 
  • Black
  • Sandy White

For me, I would choose Black, but I typically would choose that color.

Even more than this, I love the face that you will not miss a beat with the On/Off and Smart Pause functionality.  All that you have to do is fold the earcups, open or close to turn your music on or off.  It was amazing to find that all I had to do was remove the headphones. When you want music again, you simply unfold them and you When you’re looking to get back into the groove, all you have to do is slip them back onto your head.

For me, in the next headphones I am looking for, I am excited to find ones that have noise canceling capabilities. One of the things that loved about the MOMENTUM Wireless headphones is that they adapt to your environment! This means that they allow you to experience your audio the way that you want.  The advanced Active Noise Cancellation offers three modes that are tailored to different environments. Being on the airplane soon, the Transparent Hearing feature would be awesome as it would allow me to enjoy music while still being aware of my surroundings.

There are three modes that you can select that include:

  • Max: The Max mode offers Maximum Mode Cancellation (Airplane ~ Hmm…I’m going on an airplane in November)

Get Ready For A Great Listening Experience With The New Sony Noise Canceling Headphones

When it comes to listening to Music, podcasts or really anything I want to have great headphones that I can use anywhere. The problem for me in the past has always been having headphones that are not noise canceling and having to crank up the music volume because I could not hear things well.

I went looking for some new headphones recently and while I was at my local Best Buy I was able to check out the new Sony WH-1000XM3 Noise Canceling Headphones. These headphones were amazing and offer industry-leading noise canceling technology. You see, Sony’s proprietary HD Noise Canceling Processor QN1 brings the WH-1000XM3 to the pinnacle of noise cancellation!

As I tried out these headphones I found that they truly offered premium sound. In researching these I found that they have 40mm drivers with Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) diaphragms which really make a huge difference in the quality of sound that you get in your listening experience. The headphones are also Hi-Res Audio compatible and they can reproduce a full range of frequencies.

I loved that the headphones held a charge for quite some time. You can listen for up to 30 hours without having to charge. Even better though is that if you do need to charge up, the headphones have quick charging capability which will give you five hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charge time (talk about fast!).

Finally, I would be remiss to not mention that beyond just noise canceling capability on these headphones, you also have the ability to use the Smart Listening feature. With Smart Listening by Adaptive Sound Control you will be able to automatically detect your activity and the technology will balances noise canceling levels accordingly.

My Take on Tracks Relays

I love getting good sound from my ear buds, especially when I am working out, but it does not always happen. Worst of all, is that many of mine continually fall out when I am working out. This was not the case with the Sol Republic Relays earphones. These earphones provided superior sound and best of all, when I am jogging, I have yet to have them fall out of my ears. This is great for me, but also is perfect as I am thinking about some potential gifts for a few other family members that I know have mentioned similar issues with regards to earphones. I love listening to music as I know many of you do. For me, there is something about finding a new artist that just connects with your soul amazingly refreshing. At the same time, uncovering new music from your favorite artists also gives you a great feeling of accomplishment as well (at least it does for me).

 

To listen to music though I find that, especially as a parent, you have to find times and ways to be able to simply lose yourself in the music. This is not always easy, especially with the demands of your kids, but there are times in the early morning, when everyone is asleep when I want to find a good pair of headphones to listen to my music. That being said, I expect a lot from the headphones that I use, as I want top notch clear sound coming to me.

When I was asked to try out the Sol Republic Master Tracks Over-Ear headphones I was excited as I had heard some great things about them, but had never tried them myself. I received them a few weeks back and put them to the test on numerous occasions . First off, these headphones are comfortable. They fit well over the ears and really do cut out a lot of the white noise that can seep in so that you do not have to crank up the music and potentially damage your ears. Second, I found the sound quality to be top notch. No matter what type of music I tried, I found that I was given a better sound experience than I have ever had in the past. Granted, these are full headphones so they are heavier than earbuds, but they were not as heavy as I was expecting.

 

All-in-all, I was VERY impressed with the overall experience and the sound quality that I received was better than I have experienced in the past. I would highly recommend this to all, as you too will experience the amazing sound that you can receive with the Sol Republic headphones.

My Take on the Products

I have been a fan of Captain America for years, and now with the movies out, a new generation is also getting connected to this great American icon. On top of the movies though eKids has come up with a HUGE line of products that allow kids to connect with their favorite characters (from super heroes to Mickey Mouse and more!). I was lucky enough to be able to try out a few of the items above to share my thoughts on with you today.

I tried the headphones that you see at the top of the screen and the wireless speaker above. First off, I have to comment on the artwork and design of the products. both were well done artistically. I loved the color scheme and its connection to Captain America. That being said there were a few details that I loved on these products. For example, the shield that is on the side of the wireless speaker was a great touch and something that I would not have expected to be there. On the headphones, I loved how the color scheme worked throughout the product itself as it added to the overall consistency with the theme.

Best of all for both of these items was the sound quality that you received. The headphones truly canceled out outside noise and in trying them on my oldest daughter, they fit her perfectly. My youngest has a smaller head and the speakers did not fit her as well (but not many headphones do). The wireless speaker was easy to set up and the rechargeable battery held quite a bit of life (more than I had expected) before needing to be recharged. As in most rechargeable technology, they encourage that you run the battery all of the way down before recharging, so keep that in mind as you use this.

All-in-all the design and sound quality were definitely things that sold me. On top of this though, in reviewing the website, I have to say that I was VERY Impressed with the selection that eKids offers, as I was not expecting the breadth and depth of products and characters that were represented.
