Find More Time To Be A Dad With The Epson Expression Premium XP-6000 Small-in-One

June 15, 2018 by dadofdivas Leave a Comment

Expression® Premium XP-6000 Small-in-One

When it comes to fathers day, sometimes you want to have something that will allow you to preserve the memories that you experience everyday. Just recently I ran across the new Expression® Premium XP-6000 Small-in-One®,which is an amazing printer that does a little bit of everything for dads today.

Expression® Premium XP-6000 Small-in-One

As a dad who loves to travel as well as take photos, the Expression Premium XP-6000 delivers fast print speeds and superior photo quality, ideal for the multi-tasking dad printing everything from travel itineraries, rental car reservations and boarding passes, to customized coloring pages to keep kids entertained on the road. You can also print 4” x 6” photos in as fast as 15 seconds3 to preserve the family vacation memories. You can do all this while multitasking and enjoying hassle-free, PC-free printing from his iPad®, iPhone® and Android™ tablets or smartphone devices, so you can plan and print without missing out on playtime with the kids.

Expression® Premium XP-6000 Small-in-One

For me, this was the perfect printer, as I have been getting ready for a trip that my family and I will be taking. We are going to Hendersonville, North Carolina at the end of June and I have so many things that I need to print. However, when I print I do not want to wait. I want to be able to get things done quickly as I know I have about 10 other things to accomplish in the wings. After getting the printer setup (which was super simple), I found that the printer was very fast for regular copies and even in trying to print out a photo for my daughter, it did not take longer than the 15 seconds that it mentioned. This is the type of printer that really saves me time which in the end allows me to do more and be so much more productive, leaving me more time to just be a dad!

Expression® Premium XP-6000 Small-in-One

If you are looking for a great printer that can help you find more time to just be dad, the Expression Premium XP-6000 is definitely a great printer that I would highly recommend!

Have you ever wanted to have the opportunity to bring one of your favorite movies to life on a big screen in your home or even in your backyard? Consider even the possibility of having a neighborhood movie night (talk about being a IT home). You can do this now with the brand new Epson Home Cinema 11400 that is available at Best Buy.

The Epson Home Cinema 11400 offers you amazing clarity and full HD images on a big screen. With 4400 lumens of Color Brightness, you get rich beautiful Full HD images up to 300”, even in large, well-lit spaces.

The Epson Home Cinema 11400 is lightweight and portable which is what I want when it comes to projectors like these. It also has a built-in speaker, plus dual HDMI ports to connect your TV/Satellite Box and gaming console – or even plug in a streaming device and turn your favorite series into a blockbuster event.

I know for me this would be a BIG hit this fall especially on Football days as it offers 1080p resolution and 3LCD, 3-chip technology, which will make sure to provide vivid detail on the big screen so you will not miss out on any of the action!

If this sounds like a device that you could use in your own home I encourage you to check out more of the specs for yourself!

Getting Safe with Epson LabelWorks

June 4, 2015 by dadofdivas Leave a Comment

Epson-LabelWorks-Safety-Label-Kit
 photo disclaimer_zpsaa1cb05b.jpg

Sometimes there are times when you need to keep track of items, make things better seen, or even making your own home safer. To do this people do many different things but Epson has created an amazing safety pack with their new Epson LabelWorks Safety Label Kit for the Epson LW-400 Label Printer that places safety at your fingertips.

This kit not only gives you the Epson LW-400 Label Printer but it also includes: Glow in the Dark and Black on Silver tape. This tape really stands out, especially in a dark room!

The Epson LW-400 Label Printer runs on six AAA batteries. I found that it worked best to use Lithium batteries as these tended to last the longest and allowed us to be able to use the printer for the longest period of time.

Epson-LabelWorks-Safety-Label-Kit

I used this for a few totes in our closet to make them stand out, especially in a black-out or emergency situation. That being said once set up, the tape set well and did not end up curling or not sticking (at least as of yet).

There were a few features on the Epson LW-400 Label Printer that I liked quite a bit. Outside of the interchangeable tapes that can be used, the printer itself has a wide array of font types (14) and font styles (10) from which to choose.

I found making labels to be pretty easy. The device itself is straight forward and the instructions were self-explanatory. In my last trip to OfficeMax I saw this on the shelf, but I also know that you can find it online at places such as Amazon.com.

So whether you are organizing your home, simply want to add some reflection to your helmets, bikes, strollers or running shoes, adding some nighttime reflection to your life through glow-in-the-dark tape or more this kit can help you with all of these needs!

My Take on the Printer

I have been using the Epson XP-810 printer over the last few weeks and thus far I have been very impressed with the overall quality of the printer itself as well as the quality of the prints that I am getting from the printer.

This printer for me is one that has given me amazing photo quality prints, and seeing that I take a ton of photos, this is definitely a plus.

Even though I mentioned photos, I would definitely be remiss to not mention that I also have printed many other documents, papers, etc. With all of these I have been impressed with the speed of the printing.

I will remind all of you, this is a smaller printer, so you will not be able to hold large volumes of paper in the printer itself. Instead, you will have to allow yourself to use this for smaller jobs or place additional paper in it when needed. There is also a manual feed option which is nice when printing on paper that is different than what you have loaded. On top of this there is even a special tray for printing labels on CD’s (I found this to be very unique).

The printing of graphics or full color slides have provided me with quality output. You do get some small distortion, but none that would be noticeable by most. For me one of the best components with this printer had to be the quality you get when printing photos. Many times you do not get fully saturated images when printing yourself, but in all instances here I found that the images were fully saturated and some great contrast. To be honest, some of the prints I printed with this are even better than those I get from printing them at local stores which says a lot about quality in general.

Finally, this printer is small which for many will be a great selling point as you will not need the space that many multi function printers require. I had no problem fitting this into a smaller section under my computer and it fit perfectly!

All-in-all, I am very impressed with the overall quality of the Epson XP-810 printer and look forward to continuing to try it out over the days and weeks to come!
