Dealspotr is an amazing new site that lets you submit coupons and deals for you others to access and take advantage. This is truly an amazing coupon deal finder and today I will share some of my thoughts on the site itself with all of you. I have to first start by saying that Dealspotr is not like other sites like I have tried in the past. That means that you are not having to fill out surveys or earn points for shopping online. Instead with Dealspotr you get rewards for posting and sharing the coupon codes that you find online everyday!

I know that when I am online before I buy anything I start searching all over the web for coupon codes, It can be super frustrating though when you spend a ton of time only to find that the code is invalid!

Dealspotr

With Dealspotr things are different. You see Dealspotr offers you the “Wikipedia of deals” as their content is crowdsourced, meaning that their 30,000 members add, edit, and police all the deals on Dealspotr to ensure the deals are accurate and complete. They also have the highest coverage and reliability of coupon codes in the industry. Due to their large and growing community, they have the best coverage of promo codes vs Retailmenot, Coupons.com, Groupon, or any other coupon site. So a quick search of Dealspotr will give you an accurate and valid coupon code to use right away. They even recently conducted an analysis of over 550 promo codes posted at major coupon sites to find the most reliable provider of codes.

What’s amazing is that since launching one year ago, Dealspotr has saved shoppers over $15 million. They’re viewed by over 1 millions shoppers per month, and they’re one of the fastest-growing deal sites around.

Dealspotr

Another things that makes Dealspotr unique is that it is the only deal site to give you your own personal feed of deals. Similar to your Facebook news feed, you can subscribe to specific brands, topics, and people and curate a daily feed of deals personalized for you. It’s also super easy to earn gift cards using Dealspotr, it’s even reasonably easy to earn your first $10 gift card on your first few days using Dealspotr. Plus, you’re helping shoppers save money (and saving money yourself) while you’re earning.

If you are a blogger like me, they even make sharing deals on your blog easier than ever with a deal sharing widget. They did this so you can save time and earn more from your deal blog posts.

Dealspotrven reasonably easy to earn a $10 gift card on your first day using Dealspotr. If you sign up through my referral link, you’ll start off with a $5 Amazon gift card.

All you have to do as a Dealspotr rewards members is actively share the deals you come across. By doing this you will start earning points. While adding deals is one way to collect points, you can also get a points by confirming the deals that others have posted. As you collect points you can use these for Amazon gift cards.

Dealspotr

First Impressions

I have been trying Dealspotr over the last few months and have to say that I am impressed thus far. I find that the format of the site was easy to use and offers you access to an amazing array of deals. I have found that the search functionality was very robust and you have the ability to  search by store, brand, category, popular, and also trending deals. There are hundreds of new deals posted daily. If you’re looking for a coupon code or product deal, check the Dealspotr site and you’re sure to find what you need.

The only issue I have had in the past is being able to find the deals that you want to be able to post that had not already been posted. I found that if you add new deals in the mornings you usually can get items in before others.

This has been a great site thus far, and I am looking forward to continuing to to try this even more in the future! Try Dealspotr out for yourself!

Getting a Great Deal Is Only A Click Away With Groupon

July 14, 2015 by dadofdivas Leave a Comment

groupon
 photo disclaimer_zpsaa1cb05b.jpg

As a parent and living in a home where money counts, I am always looking for ways to save a little bit of money while still being able to get out and have fun with my wife and my kids. Sometimes we do this through free activities, and sometimes we splurge. However, it is nice when you can simply find a site where you can find fun places to go or eat and still save money too and this is why I have loved using Groupon in the past and continue to use it today.

I first became aware of Groupon as a site a few years ago. I was going to a new city and a friend of mine told me about the site and said that I should check it out. I did, and found a ton of great offerings in the city where I was going to get money off of meals and even a few local attractions. What could be better. The site was secure and easy to purchase from. Over the years the site has continued to grow, and it is not just localized content now, but they also have content that is national in scope and covers consumer good to restaurants to hotels and more. You even can get Groupon cash for some offers, so you save even more money by spending money!

groupon

On a recent family vacation to Niagara falls we used Groupon to book a hotel deal. I had been looking online at a lot of the other travel websites and found that the deal being offered on Groupon was the best and it came with some other great perks including some meals and the ability of getting into a few attractions – so we signed up and it was a great stay!

One of the final things that I wanted to say today about Groupon is to stress that it also is a great way to get out on a date night every now and again. For my wife and I with the hectic scheduled that we have, it is nice to be able to save a bit of money on a nice meal as we know we will be spending money on a babysitter too. So having Groupon deals that are local to us is important and a nice splurge every now and again – as you cannot forget to rekindle your own relationship every now and again!

Groupon-Coupons

What’s even better is that there is a new service called Groupon Coupons that they just launched. Groupon has partnered with more than 8,600 national retailers to bring you amazing deals right to your inbox! It’s a completely free way for shoppers to find thousands of coupons and exclusive promo codes from stores like Macy’s, Expedia, eBay, Nike, and more.

If you have never checked out Groupon you should, as I think you will find, like I did, that there is a ton of deals just waiting to be found!

Saving money on Cyber Monday+ $500 Amazon #Giveaway

November 25, 2013 by dadofdivas 6 Comments

#CyberMondaySales, @coupons
 photo disclaimer_zpsaa1cb05b.jpg

This post is a Fashionista Event. I was provided a promotional item by Coupons.com to inform you of their crazy insane Cyber Monday Sales, Coupons.com Cyber Monday giveaway and our Cyber Monday $500 giveaway.

As you get ready for celebrating the upcoming holiday and steel yourself for possibly being the stores on Black Friday, so many more people are starting to stay home to wait until the Cyber Monday Sales, leaving the stress behind, yet still getting great deals. According to comScore Inc., online shoppers spent $1.25 billion on Cyber Monday last year, making it the heaviest online shopping day ever, that being said, buckle up for a fun ride of becoming an internet deal detective!

Three ways that I get ready for Cyber Monday include:

  1. Make a list of things you want

Don’t blindly go searching for deals. Instead, start with a broad (or specific list) and then start your search. Some companies are starting having information our about their sales much sooner than on Monday itself, so start your search early!

  2. Look Online For Additional Codes

You will definitely find out which companies are offering great process online, but you need to dig deeper. Many codes can be found by looking online for free shipping, dollars off and the like. You can find these sometimes through general google searches, but there are also numerous listservs and forums (as well as websites like coupons.com) that provide this type of information as well that can be treasure troves of information for the would be shopper.

  3. Do your research

Too often consumers blindly make a decision based on price – DONT! Do your research on the type of products that you want to purchase, read reviews and come into the decision making process informed and ready!

Coupons.com is also hosting a Cyber Monday Sweepstakes where they are giving away a $500 Amazon Gift Card. People can enter that contest by going to: http://www.coupons.com/cyber-monday/ . Coupons.com CYBER MONDAY Sales Giveaway starts Nov. 25 and ends Dec. 2

Do You Use Coupons?

October 11, 2009 by dadofdivas Leave a Comment

Do you use coupons? I can honestly say that I am a coupon cutter., as I am always looking for the way to save some of the monthly budget. Recently I found a new site that I would recommend that all of you check out if you, like me, are also cost conscious.

Coupon Mom Stephanie Nelson says a family of four can save over $6000 a year when they follow her system at http://www.couponmom.com/.

“Cost saving doesn’t mean sacrificing a healthy diet or the foods your family likes,” says Nelson, “With meal planning strategies and simple recipes families can enjoy cooking quick, delicious and nourishing meals. It’s never been simpler.”

Nelson has been called “the rock star of the recession” by the Washington Post and has taught millions how to save with coupons on Oprah, The Today Show, CNN, Wall Street Journal, Good Housekeeping and Good Morning America.

Because of the recession, more than 40 million people nationally are printing online coupons, up 20 percent from last year, according to a recent report from the Simmons Market Research Bureau.
Coupon usage is definitely on the rise, and more shoppers are looking for help with their grocery spending. Membership on the site has jumped from 180,000 in early 2008 to more than 1.9 million members now.

“Our coupons are for popular products , just this month we have coupons from Kraft, Kellogg’s, General Mills, Procter & Gamble and many other quality manufacturers. We also have a great offer from restaurant.com, a gift certificate for $25 that you can buy for only $6 or less with special promotions.

Nelson, a mother of two, says cutting your grocery bill in half is easy. She launched CouponMom.com eight years ago to show other shoppers what weekly sales and savings are available – saving them time, and of course, money.

Here are some of the Coupon Mom’s favorite ways to “Strategically Shop” on a trip to the grocery store.

  1. Pick one day a week to shop and plan your week’s meals and snacks carefully to make a comprehensive shopping list. The extra planning time will save time and expense of unplanned shopping trips mid-week.
  2. Compare prices for your common items at a few nearby stores and cherry-pick the deals if necessary. Nelson finds the lowest prices on fresh produce and pantry basics at local discount stores and buys the rest of her week’s groceries at a typical supermarket using sales, loss leaders, “Buy one, Get one free” offers and doubled coupons.
  3. Study the stores’ sales circulars and use online resources like www.CouponMom.com to find the best sales. The free service does the work of finding coupons and deals for shoppers by listing grocery bargains at 41 retailers in 50 states.
  4. Stock up on your common items when they are at their rock-bottom prices. By getting a few weeks’ supply of an item, you will have enough on hand until the next sale. Getting in the cycle of stocking up in this way will get you out of the cycle of paying full price for anything.
  5. Maximize your coupon inventory. Buy multiple copies of the Sunday newspaper during high coupon weeks, watch for coupon displays in the store, pay attention to your register receipt coupons, use electronic coupons at grocery store websites and even email the customer service contact at manufacturers’ websites to request coupons for their products.
  6. Sign up for your stores’ loyalty cards and provide complete mailing and email information. You may be sent coupons for products you buy regularly.

My Take on The Site

In reviewing the site itself, I was impressed by the depth of the resources that were available. Though there are a lot of advertisements on the site that sometimes takes away from the text itself, overall the resources are great for the person looking for ways to save some money for their family.

I encourage you all to check out this site and start saving today!
