Arnold Palmer - Dad of Divas

As I have gotten older I have found that iced tea is a great refreshing drink during the day, and at the same time can be a great pick-me-up in the afternoon when I get tired from a long day. What I love about these drinks is that they are healthy and taste great. I have tried quite a bit of Arnold Palmer drinks when I go out for lunch or dinner, and I have found drinks that were good, and some that were not.

I had not heard that Snapple had their own brand of this, what they call their Half and Half drink. I am always game to try something new and I had the opportunity to try this thanks to Snapple. The Walmart store closest to me did not carry this, so on a trip to Grand Rapids, MI, I swung by the Walmart closest to my in-laws. and I found that they carried this there. I found that the Snapple was at Walmart and was was well displayed and that the half and half was very easy to find.

I was really impressed with the price of this and the fact that on top of this I could get $.25 cents off and the overall calorie count was really low. I decided to grab two of these to try it out for myself and see what I thought. I had tried other Snapple products in the past and enjoyed them, so why not try this too and see if their drink lived up to the Snapple name. I was surprised to find though that they only had one size of this as I thought there might also be a smaller version of this too.

I took these two home and the next day decided to make up a batch for work. You can see below that I usually bring this water bottle to work everyday, but it usually only has water in it. This go around I filled it up with the half and half to give it a shot.

In trying this I have to say it was a bit sweeter than I usually drink, but it still tasted great. Later in the day I tried to vary the mix by adding a bit more water and tea and found that the sweetness became less. Though I know that this was not something that most would do, like I said I enjoy trying new things and experimenting with drinks no matter what the drink may be.
