Time for an Ant-Sized Movie Night Watching Ant-Man & The Wasp
This past weekend my kids and I decided to have an Ant-Sized Movie Night watching the new Ant-Man & the Wasp movie. If you have yet to see Ant-Man & The Wasp, this movie follows Scott Lang who is a father grappling with the consequences of his choices as the superhero ‘Ant-Man’ in the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War.”
As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside the Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past.
My Take on the Movie
My daughters and I loved the new Ant-Man & The Wasp movie. As fans of the first movie and all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, this movie added a lot to the Universe while also setting the stage for a tie-in with the most recent Avengers movie. You see, even in the end of the movie you can see that not only is there is a true tie-in to the Avengers Infinity Gauntlet film and the future of the Marvel Universe and you are left on pins and needles as you want to know what happens next.
I will say that seeing the character of Scott Lang doing whatever he could to be a great dad is exactly what I needed the day that I saw it. The movie has some great characters and we loved being able to have an engaging plot as well that brought forward a new “villain.” The movie has a strong plot and humor that will keep you chuckling throughout the movie.
I loved seeing Ant-Man growing and shrinking in size and The Wasp was a great add to this movie, as both characters have to learn to work together. My daughters liked to see a strong female character that stood up for the things that she believed in and so did I.
If you have not seen this movie, I highly recommended it. I would recommend seeing Ant-Man first to give you some context to what you are seeing in the film itself.

The wait is over and I am so excited to say that Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and The Wasp is now playing in theatres everywhere! And please make sure you stay for both the shocking mid-credits scene and the end-credits scene!

New Marvel Ant Man Toys by Hasbro
It’s the Summer of Marvel and I was excited to get another box sent to me from HASBRO. This box had Ant Man toys in it, and as a fan of Ant Man I was excited to try this out. This toy was really more of a collector toy that you would place on a shelf, more than heavy play by children. As you will see in the interview with my daughter, we loved the detail and the toy itself. We did have some issues though with the legs on Antony as they went on fine, but then came off easy (a bit too easy) which is why I said that you really do not want to have have this as a toy that would be played with in heavy play (at least not Antony).

Marvel’s Ant-Man – In Theatres Tomorrow + “Little Ant-Man” video!
The wait is almost over and one of the most exciting films of the year, Marvel’s Ant-Man, opens in theatres tomorrow!!! Ant-Man is a lot of fun for the whole family and connects perfectly into the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Even As A Pint-Sized Hero Ant-Man Lives Large
I am a member of the Fandango Family Ambassador program so every now and again I am planning on trying to share with you some great movies and fun resources that I am looking forward to and think you may be looking forward to as well.
One of the movies that I am really looking forward to this July is Ant-Man, which comes out July 17, 2015.
For those of you that are not aware of the premise of the movie, below is the official boilerplate:

With all of this being said, one of the things that I am very excited about is that this movie rounds out the team of . As anyone who is a fan of the original Avengers team knows, Ant-Man was one of the founding members, but was left off of the roster when it came to the two movies that have been released in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This will round out the team, and knowing Marvel, there will be some hidden gems that will link this back to the other movies that have come previously and probably will allude to some of the future movies too. So I am completely looking forward to seeing what they will be throwing at us in only a few weeks.
I have not yet got my tickets for the premier, but I know that with the contest that Fandango is running, I will be purchasing the tickets through the Fandango site! Right now, if you purchase your tickets for Ant-Man through Fandango, you have the ability to be entered to win an original prop from the movie (See below for the link). I mean, what could be better than that!
