When it comes to some of my biggest pet peeves in house work, I would say that doing the dishes is not usually at the top of the list. However, one thing that does get under my skin is when I put dishes in the dishwasher and the glasses come out with spots or with a film covering the outside. For a while this seemed to happen quite a lot to me, and I didn’t know why. Now I understand why I was getting the results that I did.

You see, we had been trying to save some money by going with generic detergent. I mean, I didn’t think that it would make that big of a difference. It does.

Even better, if you add on the Cascade Platinum Rinse Aid it will not only clean better but also help dry everything in your dishwasher, which truly makes a tremendous difference. Using this rinse aid leaves you with virtually spot-free, impeccably dried, shiny dishes. To me, this is so important because I don’t want to have to rewash dishes just because they look like they’re dirty. I also hated the look of the glasses that would come out with water spots, because it made them look dirty even after they have been cleaned.

I also had been noticing white streaks on the inside of my Dishwasher so I knew that I needed to get a cleaner for the dishwasher as well. I picked up the Cascade Premium Dishwasher Cleaner and ran it through an empty cycle, and I was shocked at how well it worked. The inside of my dishwasher looked brand new! You simply do this once a month to remove limescale buildup and to remove grease and odors.
If you have been following me for a while, you know that I like to save money and save time. However, purchasing the generic product was one time when trying to save money did NOT save time. After the experience we had, we will not go back to using anything except Cascade in the future!
Visit your local Walmart store or Walmart.com to stock up on Cascade dishwashing products to keep your dishes clean and sparkling, and your dishwasher clean and sparkling, too.
