Just in time for Halloween, The Addams Family and Addams Family Values will be released on Blu-ray in a 2-movie collection. As someone who grew up watching the Adams Family, I have loved watching the movies, the musical and I am excited to see the new animated movie that is coming out soon too. I know that some have differing opinions on both the these original Adams Family movies, but for me, they both were fun in their own way and the actors did a great job embodying their characters. If you have never seen these films and are fans of the television series, the films are rated PG-13 and contain “spooky” humor.
THE ADDAMS FAMILY Synopsis
When long-lost Uncle Fester (Christopher Lloyd) reappears after 25 years in the Bermuda Triangle, Gomez (Raul Julia) and Morticia (Anjelica Huston) plan a celebration to wake the dead. But Wednesday (Christina Ricci) barely has time to warm up her electric chair before Thing points out Fester’s uncommonly “normal” behavior. Could this Fester be a fake, part of an evil scheme to raid the Addams fortune?

It’s love at first fright when Gomez (Raul Julia) and Morticia (Anjelica Huston) welcome a new addition to the Addams household — Pubert, their soft, cuddly, mustachioed baby boy. As Fester (Christopher Lloyd) falls hard for voluptuous nanny Debbie Jilinksy (Joan Cusack), Wednesday (Christina Ricci) and Pugsley (Jimmy Workman) discover she’s a black-widow murderess who plans to add Fester to her collection of dead husbands. ADDAMS FAMILY VALUES is debuting on Blu-ray for the first time.
As mentioned this DVD with both movies was perfect for Halloween. I got to get into the action with some a fun kit, that let me start getting into the action and releasing my inner Fester. I still need to find some other clothes to wear, but the bald look doesn’t look too bad!
It was great to be able to have both movies in one place and even better to binge watch them as the new Adams Family movie hits theaters very soon, so I wanted to watch these to get my Adams Family fix on!
