Brik-A-Blok – Turning Imagination Into Reality

February 13, 2010 by dadofdivas 1 Comment

About the Product

The BRIK-A-BLOK™ toy system provides an easy means for any child to recreate the word that surrounds them, at their scale. Easy to assemble panels come together to give kids the power to build their own world. Creative freedom coupled with our toy system liberates kids to custom build the perfect fort, playhouse, or any other structure they care to imagine.

The sky is the limit. The BRIK-A-BLOK™ toy system can be used inside the house or outside. When play time is over, kids can simply disassemble and store the set in the storage bag provided. Gigantic structures can be disassembled and stored in a small 16” x 16” x 23” space ready for the next design to be conjured. Simply magic.
The Brik-A-Blok™ toy system is a modular panel assembly toy. Kids can easily snap together large 15 ½ inch by 15 ½ inch panels to build a myriad of different structures (forts, playhouses, castles, tunnels, etc.) where they can then spend hours if not days playing in. Architecture and imaginations tools for kids!

My Take On The Product
In receiving this product my girls were very excited about putting it together, and of course it had to be put together immediately (as all things are with young children). I had a few extra hands to help with putting it together which was good as it took us a few trys to make sure that we were putting it together correctly. After a few mistakes, we were on the right track and built the structure you see above.

The girls enjoyed the structure and liked having their own little fort. As you can see we decided to put it up in our living room (for now – though this will not be the ending place). Our living room does have enough room, but if your living room was smaller, I would not recommend it, or at least, I would not recommend using all 46 pieces as you will find that it becomes too large.

The tunnels themselves are tight and are not made for adults as you can see in the picture to the right. Yet, in saying this, the tunnels were perfect sized for young ones. Actually, because they were small, I think it makes the structure even better for kids as it makes it their own and not something that can be invaded by adults.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this product, and know that it will be a great addition to the Divadom. As I know that as the girls grow that will be able to build their own creations and allow their imaginations to work and build, as they create their own worlds for themselves.

Very funny pictures, especially the last one! Those look like very fun toys, if you have the room for them.
