Celebrating National Strawberry Month with Strawberry Shortcake! #Giveaway

Strawberry Shortcake always reminds me of Strawberry season! We are getting not yet into the Strawberry season where I live in Michigan but that does not mean that my family can’t get into the fun with the strawberries we can find as well as what we are seeing on television with the continuation of the great Strawberry Shortcake cartoon too!

Growing up in the time when the original Strawberry Shortcake series was released I am excited that this series has come back and my daughters can also enjoy the fun loving characters that exist in the world around Strawberry Shortcake.

This past weekend my family and I took some great fresh strawberries to create an amazing treat for breakfast (yes it was sweet, but oh so good). One of the things that really helped with making these was the use of the DecoPac frosting sheets.

We also had fun watching some great Strawberry Shortcake episodes. Now, you might think that this is a show that parents will not enjoy, but you would be incorrect. The show is fun and the episodes have memorable characters, and even better, memorable stories too. The messages that I have seen in all of these episodes have been exactly what I would want my girls to see. Everything from themes of friendship and sharing, sportsmanship and more. All the the plots were developmentally appropriate and my girls and I loved watching them together!
