The Libre glass ’n poly large is the ‘big gulp’ of tea with a 14 oz. capacity. It has a health-conscious glass interior for fresh taste and a durable polycarbonate exterior for ‘on the go’ durability. The stainless steel tea filter is surrounded by BPA free polypropylene as is the lid interior.Can be used 2 ways to brew and travel with loose leaf tea.

My Take on the Product

The combination thermal cup with a glass interior and durable poly carbonate exterior, has its own BPA free lid that is twisted onto a removable BPA free filter. You place loose leaf tea on the filter, add hot water, twist on the filter and top, turn it upside down and steep your tea to the strength you enjoy.

Using this tea glass was easy. I  have used tea balls or spoons and even paper pouches for brewing my loose leaf tea in the past. Once the tea is brewed, you unscrew the lid and the filter .  The tea is ready to drink. The tea glass has a sturdy handle which makes it easy to use while you drink.

A really nice feature is there is lid so if you are taking your tea-to-go, you can keep it warm until you are ready to drink it.

I see this valuable to a serious tea drinker!  Enjoy!

      A bit confused here. I clicked on the Libre Tea link above for the mandatory entry and it took me to See The Light Shine. So am I suppose to say I learned something from the Libre Tea site or the See The Light Shine site? (Are you doing what I do when I create a giveaway? Copy & paste from the last blog post.)

      So I’ll assume the answer you want if from the Libre Tea site, the giveaway sponsor: I learned that the modern tradition of making a pot of tea and drinking from cups started in the Ming Dynasty

      I love how the lid is part of the product and allows the person to keep his/her tea warm while carrying it around. My grandpa would love this product!

      Bagged tea is often made from loose leaf tea production’s tea dust or ‘fannings,’ resulting in a brew that is much less flavourful.

      Before reading libretea’s tea info, I wasn’t aware that bagged tea is made from what are essential the leftovers of loose tea. Not that appealing. I received a lovely gift set of loose teas recently, and this mug would be perfect–I’d have a way to make those teas and take them with me, too. Thanks for the giveaway.

      I learned that the stainless steel filter in both models keeps the tea leaves away from your mouth and is easy to remove for quick access and easy cleaning when adding or emptying loose leaf tea.
