For me, we have had a Beta fish for about two years now, and he was always seemingly happy in his small little bowl (the one you see above). In the back of my mind though I had been thinking for some time that Perry deserved something better (and something larger to call his own). When I heard about BioBubble I was intrigued. I loved the idea of a product that was designed by someone who was an expert on aquatic habitats and developed a product that gives you an amazing 360 degree views of the habitat and a ton of space to design something unique and special for your pet.
When I received my BioBubble it looked huge and a bit daunting, but the instructions were easy enough and I found that the I was easily able to follow the instructions to quickly put together the habitat. The harder part was actually going to the pet store to decide what we would get to complete the habitat. We actually spent more time at the pet store than it took to put the entire habitat together (imagine that). When we got home we jumped right into creating the habitat. Unfortunately, we had purchased one item that we found that did not fit, but we agreed that we were ok with that and that we could always go back to get something else. In putting this together we also came to find that we could have purchased something for the tank that hooks to the aerator as it is set up for this and we could easily set it up if we had it too.
As we got ready to put the lid onto the tank we found that it would not close. Fortunately the BioBubble product comes with an after hours customer support number. I called this and was amazed to catch someone who was amazingly kind and helpful, and she knew exactly what we needed to do to get it to fit. Once the top was on, we took the sides down and voila, we had out habitat. Now to add Perry! We placed him in his new habitat and he loved it. He was swimming around in no time and loved exploring all of the new plants!
The BioBubble also comes with a Light Cap that can be used to truly illuminate the entire habitat. The light transforms the habitat and makes it amazing. We used it for a while and it allowed us to really see what Perry was doing in a whole new way.
While I have yet to have to clean this, I love the fact that we will only have to clean this every month or so. With our initial tank we were having to clean it every few days. This will completely change our fish experience and it will change your experience too!
I am SO impressed with this product and this company and would have no qualms coming back to them in the future for any of my pet needs!
