When we went to the mall, we checked out both shoe-only stores and stores that have both shoes and clothing and what I came to find was that the shoe stores employees really know their stuff (a bit more that some of the other stores) as this is what they do on a daily basis. I know that may seem obvious, and maybe it is, but it still was great to get help where we needed it, and know that our daughters shoes were coming from people in-the-know.
One of the cool things that we found when we were out shopping was that Crocs had come out with a whole new line of school-approved shoes. I mean, my wife and I have Crocs and we love them, but you would not normally think of Crocs as a company having school-approved shoes. I mean these shoes were close-toed and close-heeled, which makes the shoe much more school friendly. They also had a huge variety of shoes available (See the whole line here) for boys and girls that are in grades K-8.
If you decide to go to the Crocs Website you can also enter to win a family vacation to San Diego without even purchasing anything!
I have to say that we were impressed, and these shoes were so light. When my eldest daughter tried one on, she stated that they did not feel like she was wearing shoes at all and that they were very comfortable as well…which is always a good sign of a good shoe.
So if you are looking for a shoe that is both unique, goof fitting and stylish for a reasonable price, look no further that the new Crocs line of shoes.
