SONIC Drive-In Limeades for Learning Supporting Teachers Everywhere #Giveaway

SONIC Drive-In has started their annual Limeades for Learning Fall Voting campaign. SONIC is a longtime supporter of public school teachers through its philanthropic initiative Limeades for Learning®. During Fall Voting, Sept. 30-Oct. 27, fans will vote for teachers’ projects to determine how SONIC will donate $1 million throughout the month. The video below explains the program:

As someone that sits on a school board, and with someone that works in K-12 currently it is not a secret that public school teachers spend hundreds of their own dollars to buy supplies for their classrooms. To date, SONIC has donated more than $13.1 million to public school teachers, supporting nearly 1 million students. During the four-week period of Fall Voting, anyone can vote to make a difference and positively impact public schools in their communities, without spending a dime!

This program is so awesome, as it celebrates teachers while trying to find ways to raise money for teacher projects as well! How can you get into the action? Join in by voting. Monday, September 30 through Sunday, October 27, you can help public school teachers by voting for projects that inspire you. Through Fall Voting, SONIC puts its $1 million donation in the hands of SONIC fans, asking them to decide where the funds go by voting for teacher projects at LimeadesforLearning.com.

During the four-week voting period, the projects with the most votes at the end of each week will receive funding from SONIC. Projects that didn’t receive funding that week will have their votes carry over into the following weeks.

Anyone can join SONIC and make a huge difference for public school teachers simply by voting.

There are three ways to earn votes for teacher projects throughout the Fall Voting campaign

Through Limeades for Learning, in partnership with DonorsChoose.org SONIC has donated more than $13.1 million, providing learning materials and teaching resources to impact nearly one million students.

I have had my share at working to fund projects for teachers. I know that public education is limited but I don’t feel that teachers should have to pay for these items for their classroom out of their own pockets. Thus, I am happy that teachers can submit their wants into a site like this to get funding. The latest one I supported was for our music teacher as he was looking to get new drums for the band and I helped out through DonorsChoose.org.
