In 2015, Bitdefender, a leading security software company worldwide, launched the Bitdefender BOX. The Bitdefender BOX protects every device that connects to the internet. It is the first and only such device of its kind to be announced and available in the market. It has been described by The Wall Street Journal as a “breakthrough idea” and by FOX News as “the best way to prevent future digital break-ins.”
Although you have locks on your home, your front door isn’t the only point of entry. This is especially the case as we get more and more technologically advanced. With more technology, there are more ways for people to get into the home. This is especially the case when you have kids in your home too. As parents it is our job to make sure that our kids understand this, but if there was technology available to help us to do this, we should be all over it too.

Why is this important to me? Because I know that there are so many unknown and invisible threats that are out there and as a dad I want to safeguard my family at all time, and I know that personally I can only do so much. That’s where Bitdefender BOX comes in.
For me, in receiving the Bitdefender BOX I was excited to try it out. In receiving it, I quickly opened it, and while it is unassuming when you see it, in reading about it I could tell that this would do what was needed to safeguard my home and family’s devices.
The setup for the Bitdefender BOX was simple and and I had no problems setting it up. I did have to go into the settings of my router to change one setting but once that was done I found that I could log into the application on my phone, see who and what was logging into the network, generate dynamic, engaging content of different use-case scenarios for syndication across networks, brand social channels and platforms and more.
